Donating blood is a simple act that can save lives. Whether it's for surgeries, cancer treatments, or serious injuries, your donation makes a huge difference.
Our brave nurse Laura donated blood this week to the Pop Up centre at the Busselton Youth & Community Centre on the Busselton Foreshore.
It takes less than an hour, but the impact lasts a lifetime.

Today marks World Cancer Day, 4th February.

It’s a time to acknowledge the impact cancer has on individuals, families, and communities, and to recognise the importance of awareness, prevention, and early detection.

For many people, cancer isn’t something marked on a calendar, it’s something they or someone close to them live with every day. It can be overwhelming, exhausting, and at times isolating.

At Dunn Bay Surgery we want to acknowledge that experience and remind our community that support is always available.

Are you waiting for your test results?

If you have tests done, please organise a follow up appointment to discuss results and further management 3-5 business days from the day your tests where conducted.

A normal test result may be an indication for further investigation or specialist referral, and, therefore, for patient safety it is important to discuss all test results with the doctor.

Test results may, in certain cases, be given on the phone by our practice nurse after discussion with the relevant doctor.

If a test result is abnormal an SMS will be sent to the patient prompting them to organise an appointment with the doctor to discuss the relevant tests.
