Who is best suited for a PDO Thread Lift?
A PDO thread lift is not designed for everyone seeking a "lift." It is best suited to a specific stage of facial ageing - where skin support is beginning to decline, but surgical intervention is not yet required.
You may be an appropriate candidate if:
• You have mild to moderate skin laxity, particularly around the lower face, jawline, or cheeks
• Your skin still retains enough thickness and elasticity to anchor the threads
• You are noticing early facial descent or soft jowls—not severe sagging or significant volume loss
• You prefer a regenerative approach that supports collagen production rather than dramatic alteration
• You understand that results are subtle, progressive, and depend on your own healing response
You may not be suited to PDO threads if:
• There is advanced tissue laxity or excess skin requiring surgical removal
• Skin is extremely thin, fragile, or has compromised healing capacity
• Volume loss (fat or bone) is the primary concern - requiring other interventions first
Dr Archana begins with a comprehensive medical consultation, including assessment of facial structure, hormonal influences, and long-term skin health before deciding if a PDO Thread Lift is for you. The aim is not simply to lift - but to support your skin's natural architecture over time.
