What is Kinesiology?

Kinesiology combines Eastern medicine philosophies with Western understandings of anatomy & physiology promoting physical, emotional & psychological health. It is on the leading edge of health science in an environment that is, in a big way embracing the concept that we are energetic beings.

Kinesiology uses muscle checking to assess a person ability to adapt appropriately and identify issues where this isn’t happening. Kinesiology and Neuro-Training has many different ways of training the brain to not go into defence mode (distress). Stress is never the real issue; it’s our reactions to the stress that causes us the biggest problems in life. There are different types of defence and stress: physical, emotional, mental, meridian and even genetic all ranging from minor to major patterns.

With the increasing number of perceived threats in our everyday lives, health, work, relationship, financial distress etc. we become well practiced in this distress pattern of reaction and this turns into a habit of being in defence mode all of the time. This means that even when we desire change or a new way of reacting, we find it very difficult to do or even maintain positive change. The first thing we need to do is to get the body and brain out of defence and often some of the symptoms we come in with subside, then we can look at the real issue

During the Kinesiology session the layers of the issue are peeled back, to access the underlying cause and imbalances are treated with the most appropriate solutions for the client. These may include physical balances, chakra and meridian balancing, flower or colour essence, inherited doubt defusion, nutritional balancing or emotion stress release to help clear unsupportive beliefs, fears and habits that you are holding onto. The brain will create a new better neurological option in preference of the old reaction patterns, making new choices available and positive change possible
