I'm currently nearing completion of my Diploma in Remedial Massage, and hold a Bachelor degree in Exercise & Sports Science. I have been actively involved in massage treatment services to a range of clients including the WAFL Umpires, and Perth based AFL Umpires over the past 8 years. I have a passion for health, fitness and wellbeing and love to help people reach their goals. I am now fully booked until the new year, and not able to take any new appointments π« I will have a cancellation list in the event of cancellations over the next few weeks, so if you wish to be placed on that, please let me know.
I'm then heading away to Denmark π for a 2 week break to recharge the batteries and I'll be back on deck on the 14th Jan 2021. Appointments are currently available via the online booking system: https://empower-remedial-massage.cliniko.com/bookings

Kylie Hunt is the principle massage therapist at Empower Remedial Massage with extensive experience within the industry.
Kylie is a qualified remedial massage therapist, having completed her Diploma of Remedial Massage in 2018. She began her massage career in 2007, while studying for her Bachelor of Science (Exercise and Sports Science) degree at Edith Cowan University.
During that time, she was also employed as a medical trainer for the WAFL Umpiring team. This led to Kylie becoming the Head WAFL Umpires and WA-based AFL Umpires Head Medical Trainer in 2010, roles she held until the end of the 2014 season. One of her main duties as Head Medical Trainer was massaging the umpires, with their main training and activity being high-intensity, long-distance running on a weekly basis.
Kylie completed her Bachelor of Science in 2007, becoming an Accredited Exercise Physiologist and beginning employment in the corporate health industry where she stayed until mid-2018. She has also achieved her Senior First Aid Certificate, Level 1 Sports Trainer, Sports First Aid Certificate, AustSwim Qualification, Sports Medicine Awareness course, as well as various other certificates relevant to her exercise physiology work.
Having always led a life heavily involved in sport, Kylie has a thorough understanding of the human body and how it works, something which expands well beyond her studies, including her awareness of sore muscles and the benefits of recovery, especially massage. Kylie competed at a high level of cycling during her teenage years, both on the road and on the track, specialising in road time trials and winning a national bronze medal for the U/17 womenβs event in 2006. She has also been heavily involved in water polo, swimming and triathlon. She has completed three half iron mans and recently attempted a solo Rottnest Channel Swim, which was unfortunately halted by a shark at the 12km mark.
Kylie uses various techniques working with soft tissue to assist in alleviating muscular tension aiding in decreased discomfort and improved performance. Her range of services, includes:
