Menopause isn’t just physical, it’s emotional.

You’re not only navigating hot flushes, fatigue, or weight shifts. You’re grieving the version of yourself who no longer exists and the identity you built around being her.

And yes that loss is real. So let's acknowledge it.

But here’s the other side: menopause also clears space.

For a new identity.
For freedom from people-pleasing.
For unapologetic clarity about what actually matters.

So lets reframe it... It’s not just an ending. It’s a rewriting. New opportunities.

And maybe, the most powerful version of you is the one you haven’t met yet. 👊

YES!

From a naturopathic perspective of trauma, I don’t just look at emotions, I look at physiology. Long-term stress changes digestion.

Blood flow leaves the gut. Stomach acid and enzymes drop. Blood sugar becomes unstable. Inflammation creeps in. Just to name a few.

That’s why I look at symptoms, blood tests, and the microbiome. Healing isn’t just psychological the body needs the right building blocks to feel safe again.

If bloating hits you like clockwork every afternoon, that’s a pattern, not a coincidence.

Menopause changes how your gut works, not just your hormones.
And no, cutting more foods isn’t the answer 😬

Let’s work out why your body is reacting the way it is.
You deserve clarity 🙂

If you wait until you’re overwhelmed and then try to recover, it’s already too late. Small regulation check-ins during the day are what prevent the crash later.

Sometimes it’s two minutes of breathing. Sometimes it’s a bathroom reset or a quick stretch. And when you get home, a simple wind-down routine isn’t a “should”. It’s what creates the conditions for your nervous system to settle so that you can sleep

A common pattern I see is this: Someone starts the day grounded, then slowly slips into old coping strategies, people-pleasing, pushing through, and overworking. They’re a sign the nervous system is getting overloaded and we always fall back into familiar patterns when we are stressed.

By the time they get home, they’re already running on empty, so the body reaches for whatever shuts things down fastest. It’s survival. How do we break these patterns.. well we need to make sure the body feels safe for a start.

If you’ve been told “everything is normal” but you feel anything but…
you’re not crazy 🙂

Your body is talking to you.
We just need to listen properly.

Where have you been ignoring yourself?
The subtle whispers…
or the full-blown screams?

If something feels off, do not settle for everything is normal.

Dig until you find answers.

I am here to help when you are ready. ;)

𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝗵𝘆𝗿𝗼𝗶𝗱

No one’s talking about T3 resistance.

What is T3?

T3 has to do with your thyroid health. It is the active hormone that sits onto a receptor and tells the body what to do.

It is possible that your TSH may be in the “normal” range. Your T4 and T3 may look fine on paper.

But T3 still has to actually work at the receptor site in your cells. And that’s where things can fall apart.

If you’re ticking off symptoms like:

Cold hands and feet

Sluggish bowels

Brain fog

Dry skin

Low moods

Feeling like you’re moving through mud every day

…then this could be T3 resistance.

So when you’ve been told “everything is normal” but you know something is wrong, it’s time to dig deeper.

You don’t fix this by ignoring it. You fix it by finding out why the signal isn’t landing!!

Your body can’t heal if your nervous system is stuck in fight, flight, or freeze.

Healing happens when your nervous system is regulated. when you’re in parasympathetic mode, resting, digesting, and restoring.

So tell me… what are you doing to support your nervous system today? To calm the chaos, reclaim your energy, and finally thrive?

Your body is ready. Are you?
