Tracey Gartner (Naturopath) is passionate about preventative health and helping people achieve the fitness and wellbeing they desire. Tracey believes health is not simply the absence of disease, but that everyone can feel vital, amazing and full of life. Tracey enjoys all things health, but has a particular passion for women’s health issues including preconception, pregnancy, birth and post-natal health. Tracey also has an interest in thyroid health, gut health, autoimmune conditions, children’s health including introduction of solids, the relationship between food, behaviour and health and a love of healthy food. Due to an early career in elite gymnastics, Tracey has not been with-out her own injuries and health challenges, but feels her own health experiences have taught her invaluable lessons that she can share with you. Her journey has been a long and an ever evolving one, however, Tracey is grateful for her knowledge and credentials, and credits her present good health because of these. Putting everyone else first is why you feel like a stranger in your own skin.

You’ve spent years holding it all together. For your family. For your work. For everyone else.

But here’s the cost:
⚡ Your body is inflamed.
⚡ Your gut is a mess.
⚡ Your hormones are screaming for help.

Saying yes when you mean no is why you’re simmering with resentment.

Every time you:
👉 Agree to help when you’re already exhausted
👉 Stay quiet to “keep the peace”
👉 Put everyone else’s needs before your own

…you betray yourself just a little bit more.

That simmering under the surface? The irritability, the anger, the exhaustion? That’s your body keeping score.

You can’t heal or evolve while rejecting parts of yourself. Those parts we don't even admit we have because we have rejected them in shame.

The anger. The sadness. The jealousy. The loneliness.

The parts you’ve labelled as wrong or unworthy. Their not bad.

When you hide them in shame, you abandon yourself. You split off pieces of your truth to fit into what’s “acceptable.” But wholeness doesn’t come from perfection. It comes from integration.

You can’t become your highest self by only loving the polished parts. You become free when you let every part of you be seen, especially the ones you’ve been hiding.

Scary right. But there is so much power here.

Because the truth is... those parts you’re scared to show… are the ones that will set you free.

Stop the abandonment and come home to all parts of you.

So I am learning. Mothering or rescuing others isn’t always helpful. In fact, it can be the opposite.

For them, it can:

Silently signal, “I don’t trust you to manage this on your own.”

Fuel resentment - they may feel controlled.

Destroy intimacy - creating a parent/child dynamic instead of a partnership.

For you, it can leave you:

Resentful.

Exhausted.

And with far less time for yourself.

I’m learning that love isn’t doing it for them.
Love isn’t fixing, managing, or controlling.
Love isn’t exhausting yourself to make someone else’s life easier.

Love is:

Showing up without attachment to outcome.

Allowing someone to feel, fail, learn, and grow.

Holding boundaries, protecting your energy while still caring.

Love is so many things… but it is not over-giving, over-mothering, or rescuing.

And that is the real gift ... to love without losing yourself.

Seeing them fully — respecting who they are, not who you want them to be.

Love, at its core, is about freedom: for them to live their life, and for you to live yours.
