Deadlifts aren’t inherently “bad” for your back - and the research backs that up.
 When performed with good technique and sensible progression, they can strengthen the very muscles that support your spine.

Back pain is multifactorial. It’s rarely caused by one exercise alone. Stress, sleep, recovery, nutrition, load management and overall wellbeing all
play a role in how your body feels and performs.

So instead of fearing the movement, focus on: ✔️ Technique ✔️ Gradual load progression ✔️ Life factors outside the gym ✔️ Listening to your body

So many conversations about sleep lately in clinic. If you’re struggling with sleep it can feel like such a huge issue to fix. But there’s a few basics that can make a big difference!

Did you know that making your bed each morning can actually support better sleep at night? Getting into a made bed can:

- Create a clear cue for rest
- Improves comfort and sleep environment
- Reduces clutter and promotes calm
- Reinforces healthy sleep routines

It’s a non-negotiable for me, and I notice it makes such a big difference. Do you make your bed?

Overall, most patient’s don’t need an x-ray, here at Motiv Chiro we we’ll only recommend one if it’s truly necessary for your care

2 years of Motiv Chiropractic - and you know what, that’s worth celebrating!

Both the most fulfilling, and most challenging 2 years of my life. I’ve learnt lots, laughed loads and helped a whole lot of people get back to doing what they love.

It is not lost on me how lucky I am to have people put their trust in me every day to help them get out of pain and move better.
