Anxiety can feel overwhelming, but small, consistent steps can make a big difference. Here are some strategies that many people find helpful:

✨ Breathe with intention: Slow, steady breathing helps calm your nervous system. Try counting for 4 in, and 6 out.
✨ Ground yourself: Notice 5 things you can see, 4 you can touch, 3 you can hear, 2 you can smell, 1 you can taste.

✨ Limit “what if” thinking: Shift focus from what could go wrong to what’s within your control right now.
✨ Stay connected: Talking with someone you trust can ease the load and remind you you’re not alone.

Our Story

Dural Psychology is a team of Psychologists who are passionate about helping people live a life that is fulfilling and joyous, without being held back by anxieties or mood problems. We believe that everyone has the potential to live a satisfying life and that it is important to learn how to be present and build up coping resources for difficult times. We provide professional, evidenced based treatment for children, teens and adults who are experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, eating disorders and many other psychological challenges. We can assist couples or individuals with relationship concerns and we also have a Psychologist with a special interest in helping children and adults with special needs, including Autism, ADHD and developmental delays.
