We were honoured to welcome Senator Flávio Arns of Brazil and his wife, Odenise, to our school recently, where they toured our classrooms and facilities. Senator Arns is a respected Brazilian politician, well known for his lifelong advocacy for children with disabilities. Odenise has been a special education teacher for over 30 years.

Flávio Arns has served as Director of Special Education and Secretary of Education in Paraná and, as a Senator, has championed national policies that promote inclusion and support for students with special needs.

It was a privilege to share our practices, challenges, and vision for inclusive learning. We hope our conversation contributes to advocacy for children with disabilities worldwide.

Thank you to Senator Arns and Odenise for your interest, warmth, and ongoing commitment to this cause. It was a pleasure and an honour to welcome you both.

Thank you to NDS for visiting Warrah!

We were delighted to welcome Michael Perusco (CEO) and Lowri Williams (NSW State Manager) from National Disability Services (NDS) to our campus.

They spent time with several of our families, to hear first-hand about the importance and impact of Warrah for their loved ones

We’re so grateful to Michael, Lowri, and NDS for taking the time to listen and for their ongoing advocacy for people with disability and the organisations that support them.

⛺Camp Update: Our high school students are having a ball at camp on our stunning Sydney Harbour - the perfect backdrop for this amazing adventure.

We’re so proud of each and every one of our students for their bravery, joy and wholehearted participation.

We finished the day off with dinner and a disco. Then it was time for some well earned rest, so we can do it all again tomorrow!

What a day!

Bags are packed and our campers are off on their big adventure! For many, it’s one of the only nights away from home all year, and we couldn’t be more excited. We’ll share more from camp soon!

“Receive the children in reverence, educate them in love, let them go forth in freedom.” – Rudolf Steiner

On this World Teachers’ Day, we celebrate our teachers, for the love they bring to their work and the reverence they hold for each child. Our teachers walk alongside each student with deep respect for their individuality, guiding each child on their unique journey.

To our amazing teachers, and to ALL teachers... Thank you so much for all you do. You are AMAZING 💛

Did you know that Warrah invites young people to volunteer and live onsite for 12 months?

In partnership with Freunde-Waldorf, we’ve just welcomed seven young people from Germany who will spend the next year contributing their energy and skills to our school, farm, and farm shop.

Their presence brings so much more than an extra set of hands. They share their youthful enthusiasm, fresh perspectives, and cultural experiences, enriching the lives of our students, participants, and community. In return, they get the chance to immerse themselves in Warrah life and explore the beauty of Australia during their term breaks.

We’re excited for the year ahead. Please join us in giving our new arrivals a warm Warrah welcome.

Every week, our participants roll up their sleeves at the Dural Men’s Shed, working side by side with the Shed's highly skilled volunteers.

Together, they’ve built everything from possum boxes and bird feeders to wooden tongs and even hockey tables! Each project brings new skills, confidence, a sense of achievement, and plenty of good times along the way.

This partnership is about more than woodworking. It’s about friendship, mentorship, and creating opportunities for people of all abilities to learn and contribute.

A huge thank you to the Dural Men’s Shed team for generously sharing your time, tools, and talents with our community. We appreciate your ongoing support and partnership.
