Patient Notice: GP Staffing Changes

In February 2026 we welcome GP Registrars Dr Matthew Kirkwood and Dr Anna Barbouttis to our practice. Appointments are available to new and existing patients - please call 02 9651 1269 or book online via HotDoc.

PRACTICE CLOSURE ANNOUNCEMENT

RCMP will close over the holiday period - commencing 6pm on Tuesday 23rd December, 2025 and re-opening at 8am on Friday 2nd January, 2026.

Medicare Changes from November 1st, 2025:

We are re-introducing bulk billing in line with the recent changes to Medicare. We will continue to provide the quality care you need, when you need it.

Our patients are encouraged to register with their preferred General Practitioner through the MyMedicare Program to access additional benefits from these new changes. SERVICE CLOSURE ANNOUNCEMENT:

Laverty Pathology will close 4pm on Friday 24th October 2025 for renovations. Planned re-opening date is Saturday, the 1st of November, 2025.

In the meantime, you can go to Douglass Hanly Moir at the Medical Centre at Round Corner for anything pathology related.
