Progress results are a tool not a life sentence

They help us determine where we are so we can determine the next steps. They are not a definition of where we will stay.

If we are avoiding them, then we are avoiding the goals we truly want to reach as well

So here is what I have done, and I would recommend this to you…

- write down your goals, a big one and 2-3 little ones to get you moving towards it

- Measure and weigh yourself first thing in the morning before food becomes a temporary but added factor

- Take photos in video format, stand front and back for 2-3 seconds and save the video to refer back to in 4-5 weeks if you don't want to see it right away. You can take screenshots of the video later and it won't appear in your gallery or memories or for others as you scroll past your camera roll

- take them again every week or month and start to desensitise yourself to the process by how repetitive it is

Compare them together and you’ll be excited about progress not deterred
