As we lead into the busy period of Christmas, it can also be a difficult time for many. Here are some important numbers to have on hand. Launceston Psychology Clinic will be closed from 4pm on Wednesday 24th December and will re-open on Monday 5th January 2026.

Our thoughts are with all those who have been impacted by the Bondi shooting. In truth though our thoughts are with anyone impacted by violence. Violence is no solution to any problem ideology or political position. Anyone who is impacted by violence or senseless attack is one too many. Our deepest sympathies with those suffering today. Heartbreaking.

National Carer's Week

There have been a few times in my career when I can say I have no words!! I was lucky enough to go to the Transform Trauma conference in Oxford England. I was lucky to attend with my colleague and gain knowledge from world leaders in the field. To hear from the fantastic Ed Tronick, Frank Anderson, Esther Perel, Bessel van der Kolk, Richard Schwartz, Janina Fisher and David Kessler to name a few was extraordinary. Such and incredible experience.
