I have become a bit obsessed with soap making lately. What I love about it is all the natural ingredients and colourants you can add to it.

Here I've added to different soaps, cucumbers from my garden , avocado puree, carrot puree and aloe vera gel straight from the plant.

These soaps are coloured with Cacao, Green French clay, Kaolin clay, spirulina and Indigo(which give a blue colour).

The are fragranced with pure essential oils. I love knowing my family and I are washing our bodies with the best. Available for purchase. Contact 0403746908.

Lemon rind, Clay, Tumeric as a natural colourant, dried Calendula, nourishing oils and butters.

NO ARTIFICIAL FRAGRANCE OIL, ADDITIVES OR COLOURANTS. 100% NATURAL.

Commercial soap has so many nasty Synthetic ingredients that actually strip the natural oils from your skin. These include

You would not think these hands perform therapeutic massage or facials. Well they do! Good job for candle light and a nicely dim room!! Haha.

When I'm finished my treatments for the week they go straight into the earth. What a feeling that is. Weekends for my clients and weekdays for my other passion.... gardening. I'm a lucky girl.

This is a picture for the wall. I love involving my little girl in the garden. The great thing is she enjoys it so much. Growing and caring for our food, plants, insects and flowers. Her awareness of her surroundings is truly amazing as she notices EVERYTHING. She gets so excited when she sees new growth, whether it be flowers, buds, leaves or fruit. Got to keep my eyes on the strawberries as she has no patience!!!!

As a mother this is exactly how I dreamt I'd bring my children up. That dream has come true and I couldn't be happier.

SPRING- What a beautiful time of year. We have been locked away for so long. Maybe it's a time were you took up a hobby or realised your true potential. Mine is definitely gardening. I really am OBSESSED with my garden and growing anything edible. It has been an amazing learning experience. Here are some photos of my little oasis. Quite proud of it.

EGGS FOR SALE!

Hello lovely people. These are my beautiful girls. 6 in total. Chickens have to be the best gardening buddies. They certainly earn their keep with free fertilizer and magnificent eggs. Too many for us.

Spending beautiful quality time outdoors with our children is so rewarding. Making something as simple as a daisy bracelet gets them excited. These bracelets remind me of my childhood back in Ireland. Beautiful memories.

SIMPLICITY! This is how I love and chose to live. It's the most satisfying feeling.

Freshly picked potatoes with the earth still attached. Nothing beats the smell of fresh earth. Eggs collected daily with a yoke as orange as the evening sun. Lemons galore.

I especially love when friends come to visit and I can actually make them herbal teas straight from my garden. No teabags here!!! Lemon balm, lemon grass, peppermint, mint, ginger etc!!

This is LIVING.

Nature’s influence on wellbeing

Body & Face Thyme specialises in holistic Facial and Body Treatments. My aim is to balance, nourish and harmonize your entire being. I handcraft my own skincare range using only what nature intended, including raw foods and use these in my customized facial treatments. My philosophy is if you cannot decipher the ingredients in a product than chances are your body will have trouble knowing what to do with it.

My passion for natural skincare stemmed from childhood as a result of my father's knowledge in botanical plants. He educated me in their therapeutic powers and this influenced me to become a Beauty Therapist and later on a Nutritionist. I believe they both go hand in hand. Beautiful skin is truly a reflection of what is happening internally.
