I will never stop advocating for my clients needs.
The NDIS is amazing in so many ways, it gives families so much, but there are so many barriers to effectively implementing this system.

Having my clinical judgement scrutinised by someone who doesn't even understand the condition I'm talking about let alone the person I'm advocating for is one of my biggest road blocks.

I hear so often that people have stopped doing things they enjoy because they don't feel safe on their feet.
No more beaches
No more parks
No more slopes
No more old pavement
And I cherish the moment every time I get to walk beside them on one of those paths and realise they don't need to worry anymore, because they've got it.

They've regained their strength, balance and confidence.

The physiotherapists' role is so much bigger than exercise prescription.
At least once a week I have to explain that I do not massage for 38 hours a week, and in fact I wouldn't even say that exercise prescription forms half of my role.
