Today is International Women’s Day! 💜
This year’s theme is a promise that every woman and girl regardless of background or identity should be safe, heard and free to shape their own lives.
Yet, in 2026, too many women across Australia and the world still face discrimination, gender-based violence, and systemic barriers that deny them justice and a fair go.
We asked our General Director, Dominique Fry, how being a female leader in a sixth-generation family funeral business has shaped her approach to sustaining Fry Bros’ legacy while creating equal opportunities and giving back to Maitland and the Hunter Valley community.
