When we allow emotions/feelings to be felt in their fullest expression, and we really feel into them completely, we may only feel them for a short amount of time before they start to shift out of the body like a beautiful wave that washes in and then out.
Sometimes we are scared to feel things in life as they may feel too big, but even just knowing that it may only take a few minutes to feel into them before they begin to shift out, can really help you to give those feelings permission to be held and felt in the body.
When we avoid difficult emotions, we don't get rid of them we are just storing them. Bypassing from our experiences, is just disempowering and disconnecting us from our body, allowing negative emotions to settle in a deeper space in the subconscious.
By exploring and sitting with them in the present moment when they arise we teach ourselves that we are worthy of patience and trust. We show ourselves that we have all the tools we need to process and heal.
Our feelings become opportunities to explore our life experience.

There's nothing better than tuning into our body and its sensations to bring us back into the present moment. It's so easy to get caught up in our day and stuck in our mind.

Life can easily become busy, with thoughts swirling. It's really easy to get distracted and stuck in your head.

Take this moment to stop, pause and shift your awareness back into your body right now in this present moment.

Notice your breathing - take a breath in and as you slowly exhale out visualise you are also exhaling and releasing stresses, worries and heaviness. Let it all drift away with the exhale.

Allow yourself to feel rejuvenated and re-energised by practising this for 10 mindful breaths.
