🎉 Good news for our community! Starting 1 November 2025, The Health Hub at Eaton Fair will be a bulk billing practice for standard GP consultations - meaning if you have a valid Medicare card, you’ll no longer have any out-of-pocket costs for these appointments.

We are pleased to announce that, effective 1st November, The Health Hub at Eaton Fair will be transitioning to a Bulk Billing practice for standard GP consultations, in alignment with current Medicare requirements.

💡 What this means for our patients:
✔️ No out-of-pocket costs for standard GP appointments (with a valid Medicare card)
✔️ Improved access to healthcare for individuals and families
✔️ The same high-quality care delivered by our experienced and compassionate medical team
✔️ A streamlined and convenient billing process fully covered by Medicare

💛 Farewell to Dr Mel, and a Warm Welcome to Dr Danushki 💛

It’s with mixed emotions that we say goodbye to our much-loved Dr Mel, who will be finishing up with us at the end of next week as she will be relocating with family.
Dr Mel has been an incredible GP and a truly cherished part of our Practice family. Her warmth, compassion, and clinical excellence have left a lasting impression on both patients and staff. She will be deeply missed.
As Dr Mel shared:
“It has been a genuine privilege to be part of this wonderful practice and to care for the community over the past year. I’m grateful for the trust, kindness, and connections I’ve shared with patients and colleagues alike. Thank you for allowing me to be part of your health journey.”
We wish Dr Mel all the very best in this next chapter, and thank her for the care and joy she’s brought to our community.

We’re also delighted to welcome Dr Danushika, who will be continuing Dr Mel’s clinical sessions and stepping into her role. We know she’ll be a fantastic addition to our team and help ensure a smooth transition for everyone.
