Struggling with sugar cravings? You’re not alone 🍫

Cravings are often your body asking for something — not just “lack of willpower.”

Some simple ways to help reduce sugar cravings:

✔️ Stay hydrated
✔️ Increase protein intake
✔️ Manage stress levels
✔️ Eat balanced meals
✔️ Get enough sleep

Blood sugar balance plays a big role in cravings — the more stable it is, the fewer highs and crashes you’ll experience.
Small, consistent habits make the biggest difference 💛

🧪 Science Sunday 👩🏽‍🔬

Postpartum hair loss is a common physiological change after pregnancy.

Research suggests around 40–50% of women experience noticeable hair shedding after birth, often beginning 2–4 months postpartum.
During pregnancy, higher oestrogen levels keep more hair in the growth phase. After birth, hormone levels fall rapidly, pushing many hairs into the shedding phase at the same time — a process known as postpartum telogen effluvium.
While the amount of hair loss can feel alarming, it is usually temporary, with most people seeing improvement within 6–12 months.

If hair loss feels excessive or persists longer, it may be worth discussing with a healthcare professional to assess underlying factors.

🗓️ Cycle tracking is a simple practice that can provide valuable insight into reproductive health.

By tracking menstrual cycles and associated symptoms, individuals may better understand patterns in their bodies, identify ovulation, and recognise changes that may be important to discuss with a healthcare professional.
Cycle tracking can also support fertility awareness, whether someone is planning a pregnancy or simply learning more about their menstrual health.

Understanding your cycle is one way to better understand your health.

✨ Wellness Wednesday ✨
The wellness advice no one really wants to hear… but probably needs to.

It’s not always the trendy habits or complicated routines that make the biggest difference — it’s the consistent basics.
Simple doesn’t mean easy.
But it does work.

So many women grow up hearing that certain symptoms are “just part of being a woman.”

Severe period pain.
Extreme fatigue.
Debilitating PMS.
Hormonal symptoms that impact daily life.

While some symptoms can be common, that doesn’t mean they should be dismissed or ignored.

At our clinic, we believe women deserve to be heard, investigated, and supported when something doesn’t feel right.
Your health concerns are valid, and understanding your body is an important part of holistic care.

🧪 Science Sunday 👩‍🔬
Around 1 in 7 Australian women will be diagnosed with endometriosis by age 44, yet many people still don’t know the signs or understand the impact it can have on daily life.
On average, it takes 6–8 years to receive a diagnosis. During that time, many people live with symptoms that are often dismissed or misunderstood.

By talking about endometriosis, sharing information, and listening to lived experiences, we can help improve recognition, reduce stigma, and support earlier diagnosis.

The more we talk about it, the more awareness grows.
