Big news! Global awareness activated! Doja Cat opened up about possibly having lipoedema.

Her honesty is already sparking conversations among people who’ve spent years being told their pain and body changes were “just weight” or their fault. Lipoedema can affect mobility, mental health and body image, and many go undiagnosed for decades.

Raising visibility of this chronic condition through a public announcement like Doja Cat’s helps lipoedema be spoken about more often around the world, increasing acceptance and encouraging earlier diagnosis.

If you or someone you know deals with this, you're not alone.

Follow us to join our support community. We empower those living with lipoedema to seek answers, support, and care.

Time magazine has also released an article on her lipoedema announcement. The link is in the comments.

The Name

Thinking of a business name is a very difficult task, one that those in this position understand well. For me, I wanted something that reflected what I do and what I want to do. This took me quite a while with some very lame names to start, lol!

Liberation means “empowerment”. For me this means empowerment to others for them to make change. It means to support and nurture my clients through understanding their individual needs. It means to empower through education and informed choice. It also means no judgement as everyone has the right to make decisions that are right for them and that fit into their lifestyle.

My goal is to empower my clients to be in charge and make lifelong, manageable changes that will improve their health outcomes.
