Post surgery we usually recommend aiming for between 60-120g of protein daily, depending on your body, age and recovery stage. This aids in:
- preserving lean muscle while losing fat
- supporting energy and metabolism
- improving healing and immune function and
- maintaining hair, skin and nail health.
Aim for three to six protein rich meals or snacks a day to ensure adequacy.
