Bowie reminds me to pause,
and notice —
whether it’s flowers or her poo. 🌻🐾

Mindfulness,
in all its forms.

For neurodivergent brains,
mindfulness isn’t about stillness —
it often begins with curiosity,
and sometimes, creativity.

Noticing the world around us,
and how our bodies respond —
warmth, safety, or joy,
tension or overwhelm —
learning to listen,
and be gentle with self.

And part of that noticing
is learning what’s safe
in our environment —
so we can stay close
to what soothes,
and step away
when we need to.
