Here are some gentle ways to help manage emotions over the holidays 👇
✨ Acknowledge all feelings – excitement, worry, joy, overwhelm… they’re all valid.
💛 Create calm moments – quiet activities, sensory spaces, or a breather outside can help regulate emotions.
🌙 Use familiar grounding tools – music, breathing exercises, or comfort items can offer stability.
🎁 Keep things predictable where possible – a simple plan or visual schedule can ease anxiety around busy days.
🌟 Lean on support – having a trusted Support Worker present can bring calm, comfort, and reassurance.
Christmas looks different for every family, and that’s okay. What matters most is creating moments of peace, kindness, and connection along the way.
