Lymphoedema & Oncology Physiotherapy I am a lymphoedema physiotherapist with a private practice on Sydney's Northern Beaches. Mt.

I specialise in manual lymphatic drainage, compression garments and oncology massage. Mish Kent graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy from Brunel University in London in 1995. After initially specialising in paediatric physiotherapy in the UK, Mish moved to Australia and joined the Lymphoedema team at Mount Wilga Hospital in 2000. Wilga Hospital is one of the largest providers of Lymphoedema Services in Australia. During this time Mish completed basic and advanced Lymphoedema training through Michael Mason at the Adelaide Lymphoedema Clinic and Brenda Lee through Lymphoedema Consulting and Training Services. Mish is also a member of the Australasian Lymphology Association (ALA). In Addition, Mish also spent time working with Family & Community Services (FACS) in early intervention for pre-school children with delayed development, the Rehab Discharge team at Hornsby Hospital, and in Palliative Care at Neringah Hospital in Wahroonga. Prior to going into private practice at Lymphoedema Physiotherapy & Oncology, Mish worked as a research officer on a clinical trial into the early detection of lymphoedema after breast cancer treatment. Mish also has post graduate qualifications in Counselling (Cert IV), and Oncology Massage. Mish is passionate about women's health, empowering people to take control of their health & wellbeing, and early intervention for lymphoedema after cancer treatment.

This is a very exciting & practice mixing development for everyone suffering from Lymphoedema. I heard Professor Rockson speak about it here in Sydney A few months ago. Macquarie University are recruiting for this clinical trial here in Sydney Australia at the moment but only for those affected by secondary Lymphoedema at this stage. Hopefully this will Include those impacted by primary Lymphoedema down the track.

Gratitude to the following yoga health story. Cancer is bad enough.
