Kerrin Brown - The Brain and Nervous System Reset Coach ✨ Welcome to Radiate Wellness ✨
Where personalised health meets calm minds, strong bodies and vibrant living. I needed real answers, not quick fixes.

I’m Kerrin, The Brain & Nervous System Reset Coach, supporting calm, clarity and long-term brain health at every stage of life through nervous system regulation, nutrition, gut health and lifestyle. Hi, I’m Kerrin — a qualified Nutrition and Natural Wellness Practitioner, passionate educator and founder of Radiate Wellness. Before I was guiding others, I was navigating my own winding path through fatigue, hormone imbalance, gut issues, inflammation, anxiety and brain fog. I was doing all the “right” things — yet my body was still struggling. That’s when I realised:
good intentions aren’t enough. And that changed everything.

💥 Gut health was my first major turning point.
💧 Omega-3 Balance Testing followed — and the shift in my energy, focus, inflammation and mood was undeniable.
🧬 But the real lightbulb moment came with DNA Genomic Wellness Testing. For the first time, I truly understood why my body was responding the way it was — and what it needed to thrive. Today, I’m known as The Brain & Nervous System Reset Coach. I support brain and nervous system health so individuals and families can experience calm, clarity and resilience — now and into the future. My work connects the dots between symptoms, genetics, gut health, nutrition, lifestyle and functional testing, helping people stop guessing and start supporting their biology properly.

🌿 My Wellness Philosophy

I believe food and lifestyle are powerful medicine — and that health should support a joyful, sustainable life. I believe the body is intelligent and resilient. When given the right conditions — nourishment, nervous system regulation, rest, movement and purpose — it can self-regulate, adapt and repair. This is the foundation of preventative health, brain protection and cognitive longevity. Brain health begins with nervous system calm. Protect the nervous system, protect the future brain.

Real question… what’s your dance move? 💃

Is it a gentle sway in the kitchen?
A full-body sing-along when no one’s home?
Or a laugh-at-yourself wiggle just because it feels good?

Joyful movement is one of the simplest ways to release stress from the body and calm the nervous system — and it doesn’t need to look like “exercise” to work.

Turn on a favourite song.
Move how your body wants to move.
Let it go.

I’d love to know 👇
🎶 What song gets you dancing?
💃 Or what’s your go-to move?

Let’s inspire each other to move more and stress less 💛

Wired but Tired. Flat but Anxious. Busy… Yet Foggy.

If that’s you, read this slowly.

You might look “fine” on the outside —
but inside you feel:

• constantly on edge
• exhausted but unable to truly rest
• mentally foggy, forgetful, or scattered
• busy all day yet strangely unproductive
• calm one minute, overwhelmed the next

This isn’t weakness.
It’s a nervous system stuck in survival mode.

And over time, this state quietly impacts:
🔹 sleep
🔹 hormones
🔹 inflammation
🔹 mood & memory
🔹 metabolic health
🔹 longevity

This is why pushing harder doesn’t work anymore.

What does work?
Learning how to calm, regulate and support your nervous system — daily, gently and consistently.

That’s exactly what we focus on inside the
March Adventure Aging Wellness Club.

You’ll be supported with:
🌿 daily calming practices that fit real life
🌿 nervous-system–friendly food & recipes
🌿 education e-books + recorded blogs
🌿 group mentoring & live support
🌿 a private community of people who get it

Because this is what my clients truly want as they age:

✨ steady energy
✨ a clear, calm mind
✨ better sleep
✨ resilience under stress
✨ strong, capable bodies
✨ prevention — not burnout or breakdown

Calm is the new strong.
And calm can be trained.

If this post feels like it’s describing you,
comment “CALM” or send me a message 💚
and I’ll share how to join the March Adventure Aging Wellness Club.

Your nervous system deserves support — not another push.

Just one hour. No phone. Are you in?

Your brain isn’t designed for constant stimulation. It can’t easily distinguish between real danger and the ongoing alerts, scrolling and information overload coming from our phones.

When you step away from your device — even briefly — your nervous system finally gets a break. Breathing deepens. Muscle tension eases. The brain stops scanning and starts resting.

Over time, regular phone-free periods have been linked to:
• improved attention and focus
• reduced stress and anxiety
• better sleep quality
• healthier brain and nervous system function

This matters even more in midlife, when cognitive resilience and calm become increasingly important.

✨ Today’s Adventure Aging challenge:
Choose one full hour with no phone use at all — except for calls if needed.
No scrolling. No social media. No news.

Use the time to move, breathe, step outside, or simply be present.

⏰ Share what time you’re starting in the comments below.
Let’s support our nervous systems — together.

Stop scrolling. Breathe with me for one minute. 🌿

If your body feels rushed, tense or on edge right now, this breath is for you.

This is the 4-7-8 breath — one of my go-to “pocket practices” for calming the nervous system when life feels full.

Here’s how we’ll do it together:
• Inhale through your nose for 4
• Gently hold for 7
• Exhale slowly through your mouth for 8
Repeat a few rounds and notice the shift.

Why this works (and why it’s perfect for busy women):
The long, slow exhale is the key. It activates the parasympathetic nervous system — the part of your body responsible for rest, digestion and recovery. Holding the breath briefly also helps interrupt racing thoughts and brings your system out of survival mode.

In simple terms:
this breath tells your body you’re safe — even if your to-do list says otherwise.

You don’t need silence, a mat, or extra time.
You can do this:
• at your desk
• in the car
• before bed
• between meetings
• in the middle of a busy day

This is how I practise calm daily — just like movement or brushing my teeth. Small moments, repeated often.

Inside the Adventure Aging Wellness Club, we build calm this way — through simple breathing, gentle movement and nervous-system-supportive habits that fit real life.

✨ Save this post and come back to it once a day.
Try it daily for a week and notice what changes — in your body, your mood, your energy.

💬 After breathing with me, describe how you feel in ONE word below.

If calm feels hard lately, this might be why…

Many women in midlife are doing “all the right things” — eating well, exercising, managing stress — yet still feel wired, tired, emotionally reactive or flat.

One often-overlooked factor is omega-3 deficiency.

Omega-3 essential fatty acids are critical for brain health, inflammation control and nervous system regulation. Research suggests that up to 90–95% of people may be low, especially in modern diets high in omega-6 oils.

For women 40 and beyond, the need for omega-3 increases due to hormonal changes, chronic stress, poor sleep and accumulated inflammation.

This is why omega-3 is a non-negotiable in our household. I take it, my husband takes it, and our children take it too. Because unless you’re consistently eating 4–5 serves per week of wild-caught cold-water fish, most people simply aren’t meeting their needs through food alone.

When omega-3 intake is low — and omega-6 intake is high — the balance tips toward inflammation, fatigue and a heightened stress response.

✨ This week’s gentle focus:
Support your calm from the inside out.
Get curious about your omega-3 levels instead of guessing.

💬 Comment CURIOUS if you’d like to find out how to test your omega-3 status.

Magnesium is one of the most important — and overlooked — minerals for stress and calm.If you’re feeling tense, anxious,...
15/02/2026

Magnesium is one of the most important — and overlooked — minerals for stress and calm.

If you’re feeling tense, anxious, emotionally flat, struggling to unwind or having trouble sleeping, magnesium may be playing a role.

Magnesium helps:
• regulate the stress response
• support the nervous system
• relax muscles and tension
• improve sleep quality
• stabilise mood

What many people don’t realise is that stress actively depletes magnesium. Mental stress, emotional stress, physical stress — they all increase magnesium demand. Over time, this can leave the body less able to cope, even when life doesn’t feel “that bad.”

Other common contributors to low or poorly utilised magnesium include:
• chronic stress and poor sleep
• caffeine and alcohol
• hormonal shifts in midlife
• intense exercise
• long-term nutrient depletion

Whole foods like leafy greens, avocado, nuts, seeds and dark chocolate are a great place to start. But for many women, especially during perimenopause and beyond, food alone doesn’t always restore balance.

This is where testing rather than guessing becomes powerful.

With HTMA (Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis), we can look at how minerals are interacting — not just magnesium levels, but ratios that influence how your nervous system responds to stress. When those ratios are off, the body can stay in a heightened stress state even with good nutrition.

You don’t need to do everything at once.
But understanding what your body actually needs is a game-changer.

✨ A gentle first step:
Notice how stress shows up for you — physically, mentally or emotionally. Your body is giving you clues.

💬 Where do you feel stress most — body, mind or emotions?

12/02/2026

Is coffee calming you… or quietly stressing your nervous system?

For many women in midlife, caffeine starts to feel different. What once felt energising can begin to trigger anxiety, poor sleep, palpitations or that “wired but tired” feeling.

This isn’t because coffee suddenly became bad — it’s because your body has changed.

Hormonal shifts, accumulated stress, sleep quality and even genetics influence how well you break caffeine down. Some women metabolise it quickly, while for others it lingers, quietly keeping the nervous system on high alert.

Timing matters too. Having coffee first thing in the morning — especially before eating — can spike cortisol and blood sugar, adding extra stress to the system, particularly during perimenopause and beyond.

Rather than giving coffee up, try getting curious:
• When do you have your first cup?
• How many do you really need?
• Why are you reaching for it — energy, mood, digestion, habit?

✨ A gentle experiment for the week:
Delay your first coffee until after food, or stick to one cup earlier in the day. Pay attention to how your body and nervous system respond.

💬 How many coffees do you usually have in a day?

Stop for a moment and breathe with me.

In this video, I’m sitting on the earth, breathing in through the nose for 4 and out through the mouth for 8. This isn’t random — it’s intentional nervous system support.

Here’s why it works:

• Sitting on the ground provides grounding input that helps the body feel stable and supported
• Nose breathing supports nitric oxide release and calmer nervous system signalling
• A longer exhale activates the parasympathetic nervous system — the state where your body can rest, digest and repair
• Being in nature has been shown to lower cortisol and reduce nervous system load

Even if your mind is busy, your body responds to these signals of safety.

This is why I treat calm as a daily practice — just like movement or self-care. Not for hours, and not perfectly, but consistently.

Inside the Adventure Aging Wellness Club, we focus on simple breathing practices, gentle movement and supportive nutrition to help the nervous system move out of survival mode and into steadiness — especially during midlife.

Nervous systems change through repetition, not intensity.
If this felt helpful, save the video and practise with it once a day for a week.
Notice what shifts — physically and emotionally.

💬 Comment one word below to describe how you’re feeling right now.

10/02/2026

What is your breath telling your nervous system right now?

Your nervous system doesn’t respond to logic or reassurance — it responds to signals from the body. One of the clearest signals it listens to is your breath.

When breathing is fast and shallow, the body stays in alert mode.
When breathing slows and the exhale lengthens, the nervous system receives a message of safety.

Even if your mind is busy, your body can begin to settle.

This is why conscious breathing is such a powerful stress support tool. It works in real time, helping guide your system out of survival mode and back into balance.

I treat calm as a daily practice — not something I wait for when life gets overwhelming. Some days that looks like breathing, some days gentle movement, some days simply slowing down enough to listen to what my body needs.

You don’t need to remove stress from your life to feel calmer.
You need to teach your body a new response.

💬 Have you noticed how your body feels when you slow your breath?
