Heck it is already the end of September!
For those already thinking about next year, all of our General Public course dates for 2026 are now live on our website!
If you are wanting to book in for a general public course please jump over to www.hatraining.com/enrol-now/ or for a company booking where we can come to you (minimum number required) our company booking request form can be found at https://www.hatraining.com/company/
We do still have our general public courses running until the end of the year so if it is getting to that time again (and you don't want to leave it until the last minute) please feel free to book in.

What do we cover in First Aid in an Education and Care Setting?

HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting course is aimed at the those working in early education environments.

Our courses are structured to include everything that is in Provide First Aid but also explores managing injuries that may happen with young children.

HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting includes HLTAID009 and HLTAID011 as well as Asthma and Anaphylaxis modules.

Quite often we get asked "What is covered in a First Aid course?".

In HLTAID011 Provide First Aid your CPR is included. There is also how to manage a range of other situations such as anaphylaxis, asthma, choking, breaks, soft tissue injury, minor bleeding, nosebleed, shock and envenomation just to name a few.

"What's in our CPR Courses?"
This is a question we do get asked every so often.

In HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation we cover how to manage the unconscious breathing and non-breathing casualty as well as techniques for providing CPR to adults, children and infants including use of a defibrillator.

As we are into the spring and have the summer months ahead, asthma is something that many people do not consider. Did you know that pollen, bushfires and thunderstorms can be triggers for some people that suffer from asthma?
