CHRISTMAS DAY AND NEW YEAR'S DAY EVENTS - VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! 🎄🎅

We are edging closer to being able to confirm holding events on Christmas Day and New Years Day! We just need these three core roles to be covered and then we will be all set:

🎄 Timekeeper - Christmas Day
🎉 Timekeeper - New Year's Day
🎄 Tail walker - Christmas Day

***If these core roles are not filled by the end of November for either day then we will not be having an event on that day***

DO YOU KNOW WHAT THIS IMAGE MEANS?

Regular parkrunners will know it means we have to decide whether to hold extra events on Christmas Day and New Years Day.

The biggest challenge is filling the volunteer rosters not only for the special event days but also the regular Saturdays around them (i.e. Saturday - Thursday - Saturday - Thursday - Saturday).

It would be great if we can fill the holiday rosters so we can confirm the special events as soon as possible. If you can volunteer at any of the events in December we are very happy to take names and volunteer positions NOW!!

All of the volunteer roles are simple, lots of fun and very rewarding so come celebrate being part of the Carisbrooke parkrun volunteer crew now!🎄🎅

CARISBROOKE RESERVE MAIN CARPARK CLOSED THIS SATURDAY

Salisbury Council are resurfacing the northern carpark at Carisbrooke Reserve and have announced that the carpark will be closed this Friday and Saturday.

The southern and Harry Bowey Reserve carparks are open as usual. However, the southern carpark has limited capacity so please allow extra time to find alternative parking if it is full. Street parking is available on the frontage road in front of the car dealerships and in nearby residential areas (please be considerate about drive access and noise).

We kindly request that you do not park in the Old Spot Hotel carpark as they hold a Saturday market.
