Here are some images from our recent Chennai International Digital Healthcare Study Tour, where participants had the privilege to tour Apollo Hospitals, Chennai and learn more in-depth about their cutting edge digital healthcare journey till date. It was impressive to note that Apollo Hospitals has already implemented their end-to-end digital patient journey as an integrated solution over 7 years ago, in conjunction with clinicians, all the way from patient registration to EMR, electronic medication management, theatre management, outpatients and so on. It was lovely to speak with the world leading robotic surgeons from Colorectal Surgery, Upper GI Surgery, Urology and Orthopaedics who are indeed leading in their respective fields in robotic surgery training and impressive case loads! The Digital Command Care Centre led by an experienced ICU Consultant demonstrated real-time monitoring of all inpatients across the Apollo healthcare network utilising various medical grade wearables, patches and end user peripherals. Our highly successful International Digital healthcare Study Tour, in Chennai, India would not have been possible without the proactive participation of our study tour participants and delegates who embarked on the Study Tour to actively learn, process the education offered, while exploring their own new ideas in a relaxed setting.
