No seed or veggie oils here. No fragrances. Our gluten free products are of the highest quality because we know its crucial for gut health. We have only the highest quality dairy free. We also have some spelt wheat options also of highest quality and our dairy well you guessed it it's the real deal. Paleo options, keto options. Pretty much there is something for everyone as long as you care about the quality of ingredients and what goes in or on your body. If you don't care or don't think about it and just thoughtlessly or trustingly buy most of the products from supermarkets then you probably won't like our stuff. However if your new to realising that much of our foods are making us sick and you want to learn more or make changes and don't know where to start then come in and chat with me. Every week we are stocking in new products. I've been so busy doing my research on many of the products and finding the suppliers and filling the shelves that I forget to share with you the new stuff. As always you can feel safe to know that everything we stock from body products, cleaning, food and supps are all safe from hormone disruptor, seed and veg oils, chemicals, preservatives. If I wouldn't use the products myself I won't stock it and I love being able to provide this service to Ellenbrook and everyone that comes in. It's literally like my own pantry, fridge and freezer. Some things you may not know about me and why my love for natural medicine is a calling rather than a job 🥰
I grew up in the late 60's on a property in the swan valley, so being outdoors is in my bones. I was a very active child and mum put me into dance classes to burn off some of my energy!
My passion for dance and movement became embedded and I was lucky enough to dance on stage in Perth, professionally with the Kalika Dance company, dance in India and the UK and learn multiple martial arts, then later in life participate in triathlons. My hairdressing career started in my teens and still (to this day) cut my Mums hair 🥰

In the 80's with all those toxic hair chemicals, dance parties, exploring and adventuring out in the world, travelling to India to study dance, visiting family in America and then living in the UK, I decided to settle down and study Naturopathy. Settle down= meaning- performing in the dance company, studying, helping my friend open & work in a hair salon, start scuba diving as a hobby!
I eventually burnt out and was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma- BOOM- age 29.
Here was the start of my deeper dive into why this happened- and the realisation I needed to survive as I hadn't finished my story!

My love of detoxing/fasting begins- and I still actively detox/fast 2-3 times per year. As this was a key part in my recovery, it definitely helped save my life. Removed all toxic products from my home, skincare, personal care and cleaning products. Ate cleaner, organic and wholefoods.
Our bodies are a sponge, and if we fill them too much- without the ability to self squeeze- we need to give them a hand. Using easy equipment at home, along with eating well, moving, actively detoxing keeps my body from building up chemicals that are wrought in our environments today.

Hence my love of finding the root causes to your presenting concerns and foods as medicine. Some simple lifestyle factors and changes can be added or removed, movement incorporated and foods that heal rather than build up toxic effects in the body is a great first step to better health. ✨

🦷 Jaw Pain, Clicking, or Clenching?🦷

If your jaw’s been clicking, locking, or aching especially when chewing or talking it could be TMJ disorder. We’re seeing this more often lately, thanks to stress, poor posture, and teeth grinding (hello, sleep clenchers 😬).

TMJ (that’s the jaw joint just in front of your ears) works hard every time you speak, chew, or yawn. When it’s out of balance, it can lead to jaw tension, headaches, facial pain, even ear ringing.

Chiropractic care gently restores alignment through the jaw, neck, and upper spine helping reduce pressure, inflammation, and muscle tightness. Many people notice less pain, better range of motion, and easier eating and speaking.

🦷 HOMEWORK🦷
Try this: Apply a warm compress to the sides of your jaw for 10–15 mins. Breathe slowly, and avoid chewing gum or hard foods for a few days.
