Officially signing off for holidays 🏝️ 🇻🇳

It has been an incredible and full few months with work, family & life, and I’m ready to embrace the rest, slowness, and a bit of luxury!

People often playfully comment that I’m ’always on holidays’ 😂 Adventure, family time, travel and moments to slow down (whether 5 star or camping in the bush) are high up on our priority list. We plan and book ahead so we always have our next adventure in the calendar. This is part of who we are as a family and we love it 🩷

You can still contact me on Instagram or email while I’m away but I might be a bit slower than usual on the reply. You can also book your sessions for May and June or book any of the upcoming courses via the website

Tiny hands and tiny feet 🩷 This beautiful 10 year old, at the end of our session, tuning into her intuition to check in with her higher self and the message she needed to receive 💫

I simply handed her the oracle cards and off she went without any guidance from me. Her eyes closed, she slowed her breathing, then began feeling the energy of where she was being called. Like magic before my eyes 💎

She chose her card read the words, described
what she saw, how it made her feel and how it connected to her true self. All without question or hesitation. Trusting herself so effortlessly and knowing she was safe to share this expression of herself.

And it got me thinking? How can we, as adults, tap into this same energy of trusting ourselves without hesitation or judgement or attaching to the outcome or trying to ‘do it right’? And instead, simply trusting ourselves and the wisdom within.
Something to perhaps reflect on and bring your focus into this week. I wonder how this perspective moves you through your week…

There are about 100 reasons to learn Reiki but I couldn’t get that many on one post 😂

The journey of learning Reiki is a unique experience for everyone. It provides an opportunity to deepen the relationship with ourselves, to support healing and to develop our spiritual connection 💫

When I first decided to learn Reiki, it was purely for the purpose of offering Reiki to others. Little did I know that the foundation of Reiki was offering it to myself 🩷 Now I connect with Reiki everyday and can offer this gift to ME anywhere or anytime I need it

Using rest as a reward goes a little something like this…
‘If I get all my tasks done today, I’ll let myself rest/ take a break/ lay on the couch/ sit outside/ sleep in’

And I’m guilty of this too! Sitting with a health professional this week, I said the words out loud that I have only been giving myself permission to take a break and rest IF I finish everything I’m ’supposed to do’
It was truly a light bulb moment 💡 for how my mood, thoughts and physical body have been responding lately.

What if the answer was to simply to take a break or rest when our body is calling us to do so? How would it change how you feel and how you move through the week?

So join me, in giving ourselves permission to let go of the pressure and expectation to ‘do’ and ‘be’ everything and simply rest when we need it

Here’s a few simple ideas that feel realistic for me 🌺 see what resonates with you or create your own
- go to bed 30 minutes earlier 🛌
- read my book for 15min instead of scrolling mindlessly on my phone 📖
- close my eyes for 5 minutes (this will be me before school pick up 😂)
- schedule a couple of breaks into my calendar this week rather than just filling it with tasks
- sit outside between tasks/ meetings etc and just notice what I can see & hear 🌱
- repeat to myself ‘I allow my body & mind to rest & recharge’
