So this happened to me yesterday 🚐 💥 after school drop off…. But ‘Shannon’s’ came to the rescue and I’m now driving a super swish car which so doesn’t suit me 😉 & unfort my darling Delica looks likely to be written off due to being a Japanese import with parts hard to replace.
Thankfully nobody was injured, but I was a little shaken up as it took me back to my accident in Feb earlier this year where my cute little corolla was written off by an aggro (under the influence) bikey 🏍️ who broke his ankle then sped off 😢
What a different experience though this time round! I felt so protected and supported yesterday…
👼 by the angel lady who witnessed and hugged me through it (and offered me $100 uber money to still be able to attend my weekend warrandyte event, which I obviously didn’t take but wow what a gesture from a stranger)…
👨 by the man who pulled out into me, taking full responsibility, fully covering insurance and checking in on me afterwards
🚘 by ‘Shannon’s’ car insurance who were so supportive, swift and caring, providing me with a tow truck and swanky replacement vehicle by lunchtime
🥰 by my bestie boy, Addy, for coming to my rescue and collecting me (and my stuff)
🌹 by my day date in the rose 🌹 gardens that arvo, really helped to ground me and settle the nervous system….
👯 by numerous friends and fam who have reached out offering to help (and with kids) and checked in on me since, may have a touch of whiplash am realising now as a bit sore in the neck / shoulders.
Overall am feeling blessed and grateful. Thank you God, thank you friends 🙏 … who wants to come van / car browsing… again?! Open to recommendations 🤗 😘
