The omicron outbreak is upon us, and our healthcare system is under pressure. While this might not mean to much to you if you are well or managing COVID at home, it means you may struggle if you present to a hospital for a routine injury- a sprained ankle, sore back, headache etc.

It is our job to keep this pressure off our hospital system, and physiotherapists are experts in diagnosing injuries, sprains, fractures and the like. Unless you're bleeding or have serious trauma, we are the best option for helping you recover.

Do your bit, to let us do our bit. Don't go to hospital for injuries, see a physio instead.

COVID UPDATE

Ok, so here we go again. Physio is essential, but remedial massage and myotherapy must cease for the term of the lockdown.

We are here if you need us and are in distress. The whole idea is to prevent you from presenting to a hospital- so if that's you- we can treat you.

We are also proudly almost 100% vaccinated, scrupulous about cleaning, and PPE wearing champions.

Like we've done this before...😅

The snow is falling, lifts are turning, and record numbers of first time snow holiday makers are enjoying their time at the snow.

But... skiing can can be frought with injuries- particularly if you're not at peak fitness (and who is after all these lockdowns)!

If you've done a number on yourself on the slopes, or even pulled a hammy hiking around Mt.Donna Buang head on in to see one of our physios. ❄☃️

UPDATE:

Hey hey we're in lockdown again!

Good enough news from us however- Allied Health is still considered an essential service if you need it. This means that Physio, Osteo, and Exercise Physiology are allowed to continue.

In not so great news, Remedial Massage, Myotherapy and Pilates in group sessions are all on hold for the duration of the 7 day circuit breaker.

We will contact you if your appointment needs to be rescheduled.

We are super proud to let you know that at this stage over 80% of our team at all sites have had their first vaccine injection, and we look forward to our second jabs to declare a Hills Physio herd immunity!

Don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or concerns: 1300 994 557.
