One minute your full of energy in your thirties and the next thing you know you’ve hit your forties, your losing words in sentences, you are having troubles staying 🛌 asleep and are feeling cranky & short tempered. 😡

Welcome to Perimenopause.

Many of us are being brushed off by our doctors when we are asking to get our hormones tested and asking for support for our health during this phase

Naturopaths, Annie & Amanda have put together a Perimenopause Workshop just for you .

We explain what is happening in your body and how your hormones are affecting the changes.
We walk you through natural strategies to help support you through this transition.
We load you with plenty of tools to help prepare you to feel and live your best .

Joining us will also be Personal Trainer Bridget Mathers. Bridget will cover what exercises to do through this stage and which exercise is best .

Fluctuating levels of oestrogen and progesterone levels can have a powerful impact on other hormones in the body resulting in unwanted symptoms that can last for many years.

Symptoms may include:

Emerald Natural Health is delighted to welcome Naturopath Raine to our team!

Raine is a BHSc qualified Naturopath with a background also in Aromatherapy and Environmental Science. She believes that Naturopathy is the art of recognising that one person is multifactorial, and yet all parts are connected. It is not designed to replace modern medicine, but rather to walk alongside it — supporting the body, mind, and spirit as one.

Raine has a strong belief in meeting you exactly where you’re at on your health and wellness journey, using natural therapies, gentle remedies, and, most importantly, a wholesome diet and lifestyle that suits the whole family.

With a special interest in children’s health, skin, ADHD and neurodivergent support Raine brings a deep clinical understanding of complex health issues while maintaining a nurturing and empathetic nature. She regularly works alongside medical teams and NDIS coordinators, ensuring holistic and coordinated care.

Her experience within a compounding pharmacy on the Sunshine Coast has allowed her to collaborate closely with integrative doctors and a dynamic health community, expanding her evidence-based approach and clinical insight.

As a mum of two, Raine understands the importance of communication, compassion, and practicality when supporting families. Her mission is to empower parents and individuals with the tools, knowledge, and confidence to achieve long-term wellness.
Raine will be consulting monthly in person at Emerald Natural Health and her first visit will be November Monday 24th.

Annie Barrett is a Naturopath & Medical Scientist.

After working shift work in pathology for over 20+years , Annie decided to retrain as a Naturopath. Annie is an Emerald local who has moved back to spend quality time with her family.

With a background of being a shift worker in the medical field, Annie has a special interest in sleep hygiene and looking after your body and adrenal health whilst being a shift worker.

Annie has a passion for women’s hormonal health and integrates this in her practice to help women feel better, sleep better and have more energy.

After working in pathology for more than two decades , Annie helps to interpret your blood pathology from a Naturopathic perspective to help you reach your health goals.

Annie does blood pathology testing, food testing , hair tissue mineral analysis, gene
and gut microbiome testing.

Annie is also the co-creator , with Amanda Mullemeister and together they have created The Perimenopause Workshop.

Annie works from Emerald Natural Health and sees clients online and in person.
