I had such an amazing day yesterday. I felt incredibly blessed to be part of a Global Sisters photoshoot.

The day was filled with so much magic, surrounded by incredibly inspiring women.
The video doesn’t quite do the day justice… I may have gotten a little distracted chatting away. 😂

I loved hearing the stories behind the businesses. I heard heartfelt experiences of women using their challenges as the motivation behind creating their businesses. A beautiful reminder that these aren’t just small businesses - they are dreams fuelled by heartache, life’s biggest challenges, a desire to help others, and breaking cycles for future generations. The depth of passion was truly contagious.

This is what inspires me and lights me up. Everyone has their own unique story and lived experience - sometimes it motivates us, and sometimes it holds us back. So honour where you are at, and reach out if you need support. It can come in so many different ways.

For those that don’t know about Global Sisters Global Sisters (I’ll try to put it into words), Global Sisters is a not-for-profit organisation that supports women to build financial independence by starting and growing their own businesses. They offer free programs, coaching, and such a beautiful community. They are an organisation that doesn’t just promise but delivers - they are truly unique and genuine. They are continually working to shift the barriers that make it harder for women to access stable, sustainable work.

Lastly, a big thank you to all the incredibly talented, professional, warm, welcoming and kind-hearted women who were involved (I hope I haven’t missed anyone):

Imagine living life through the lens of contentment…
This is what we were invited to explore in yoga this week.

In the past, the word content was something I associated with settling, not striving to be or do better. To me, it meant not moving forward, almost like giving up. I had quite a strong reaction to it.

Life always felt like it was about doing more, always looking for the next thing, pushing, forcing, and trying to control the outcome. So contentment was never something that felt comfortable in my body.

But this week has invited me to go deeper and explore it from the person I am today, and I can see the difference it now holds. Life experience, challenges, and definitely age have shifted my relationship with contentment.

Now it feels more like simplifying life, seeing the beauty in the smallest things, being present in the moment and in my body. Allowing what is, without the stories or resistance. Choosing flow rather than suffering.

As I continue to heal and grow, the word content feels safer in my body, bringing a sense of satisfaction and a more flexible nervous system.

Yoga has been such a beautiful support in observing my inner and outer worlds. Being present in my body allows me to witness where resistance still exists, where I am holding on, and where unprocessed emotions and old patterns reside. I am deeply grateful for the depth of Lori’s classes. Lori Dahm Yoga and Wellness

I am learning to create space for quiet moments and self-reflection, but also to notice the awareness available in everyday life. There are so many opportunities for awareness when we slow down enough to see and hear them.

For me, yoga is supporting this return back into my body.
At this stage in my life I find myself consciously choosing softer approaches, gentler movements, and more supportive environments that allow me to stay connected.

✨ What does contentment feel like in your body?
✨ What changes when you allow things to be as they are?

💛

For many of us, being present doesn’t come easily.

There are so many things that pull us away…Overthinking. Busyness. Emotional overwhelm. Not feeling safe - physically, emotionally, or mentally. Living in the mind and being disconnected from the body.

Presence is unique to each of us. Our life experiences, responsibilities, and the load we carry all shape how we show up in each moment.

Becoming more present doesn’t need to be forceful, but rather a gentle return, moment by moment.

We can do this:
💎In small pauses.
💎With intention.
💎Noticing the beauty that surrounds you.
💎Being guided by your senses.
💎Honouring your rhythm and your intuition.
💎Creating space in meaningful ways.

One moment at a time.

What is your driving force?
What actually gets you moving… completing a task, a project, a course?

Is it stress, pressure, fear, deadlines…
or is it stillness, motivation, inspiration?

It’s interesting to pause and become aware of what truly drives you, because not all action is supportive to your nervous system.

Some movement expands you… while others keep you in survival.
Some energise… while others lead you to burnout or shutdown.

And yet, it’s so common to hear -
“I work best under pressure.”
“Deadlines make me productive.”

But honestly… is that true?
Or is it a pattern built on habits, beliefs, and survival responses?
This is something I’ve been sitting with lately - not just with clients, but within myself too.

Awareness is powerful.
Not when it comes from guilt or self-criticism, but when it’s rooted in curiosity.

When we allow ourselves to become the observer, rather than getting lost in the story, something begins to shift. We start noticing… without needing to immediately fix or change anything.

Sometimes that awareness alone creates change.
Other times, it simply becomes the step before action.
Either way, it matters.

We all carry a past that shapes how we move through the present… and there are always clues and insights, if we’re willing to see them.

So be kind in what you notice.

This isn’t about having all the answers.
It’s about staying curious… almost childlike in the way you explore. Keeping it light, rather than heavy.

✨ I invite you to gently observe what is driving you… and ask yourself - is it sustainable?

There’s no pressure to change it in the moment.
Just notice… and allow awareness to come through.

Today I took myself on an adventure… being a tourist in my own city.

After a challenging month, I gave myself permission to do what I love - explore, connect with nature, enjoy art, and have a little fun.

With a book in hand, The Signs by the inspiring Dr Tara Swart, I jumped on a train and let the day unfold.

From the hidden magic of Wendy’s Secret Garden, to walking across the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
Soaking in art at Wentworth Galleries, sparking my imagination.
Stopping at the unique Ampersand Cafe and Bookstore for some beautiful food,
and ending with a quiet moment at the Paddington Reservoir Gardens.

Being a traveller at heart, these little adventures are what fill my cup. It was a beautiful reminder - I don’t have to travel far to ignite that sense of freedom and explore new places.

And trying to push through isn’t productive and doesn’t serve anyone. Taking time for yourself allows you to reset and move forward. It doesn’t have to be big, just something that feels good to you.

What’s something small you could do that would fill your cup? 💫

Insights & Integration is back for April - a monthly remote group session.

A space to pause, reflect, and reconnect with yourself.
Each month brings a new theme, with gentle guidance and insight to support you in moving through what’s been coming up and returning to what matters.

This month, we explore Presence.

For many of us, being present isn’t something that comes easily.
Instead, we can find ourselves living from a place of disconnect, overthinking, busyness, emotional overwhelm, or detached from the body.

Somewhere along the way, many of us learnt to keep it together.
To hold everything in place on the outside, even when things don’t quite feel steady within.
A lot of us pride ourselves on appearing strong… but underneath the surface, there’s so much stirring.

It’s not always obvious, but it shows up as tension in the body, always preparing for what might happen, and never fully letting your guard down - even when nothing is wrong.
Holding it all together takes a lot of energy, time, and effort, often pulling us away from being present.

April isn’t about forcing yourself to “be present,” but an invitation to gently shift the patterns that keep you from being in the moment, and return the joy of presence.

✨ How it works
Upon booking, you’ll complete a short intake form answering questions in relation to this theme.

On Wednesday 1 April 2026, a session will be held remotely by Nicole, tuning into the collective energy of the group through muscle testing, combined with holistic kinesiology and ThetaHealing®.

You will receive a detailed written session summary in your inbox, which may include insights, techniques, reflective prompts, supportive tools, and home reinforcement based on what comes through. This is something you can return to at anytime, moving at your own pace, allowing integration to unfold gently.

A follow-up check-in is also included after the session, offering support as you move forward with what has surfaced.

✨ Details
April session: AUD$55
Delivered via email: 1 April
Bookings close: 30 March

This is for those who prefer working at their own pace.
Who value guided self-inquiry.
Who feel called to live with more intention each month and explore their inner experience.

Lately, I’ve been noticing how many women are feeling overwhelmed or stuck in their thoughts.

Most people think the mind has all the answers. But I believe there’s a deeper wisdom within us that the mind alone can’t always access.

When we learn to tune into our internal signals, we begin to uncover insights that create awareness and lasting change.

So much overwhelm comes from trying to figure everything out mentally, while the nervous system is still holding onto trauma responses, emotional stress, and subconscious beliefs.

In my sessions, I use kinesiology, including muscle testing as real-time feedback, to gently uncover what your system may be holding onto - trauma responses, emotional stress, and subconscious beliefs.

I also integrate ThetaHealing and somatic practices, so we’re not just talking about change - we’re working with your body to create it.

My focus is supporting women to move beyond survival patterns - reconnecting with their deeper wisdom so they can step out of overthinking and make decisions from a more grounded, regulated place.

Each session is unique, guided by what you’re ready for - moving at a pace that feels safe and supportive.

Sessions are available at Nurture Gifts, Crystals & Jewellery in Engadine. Luminousness is now open on Sundays.

If this resonates, you’re welcome to reach out or book a session.

Happy to answer any questions if you’re curious.

Take gentle care,
Nicole

When things feel uncertain… does withdrawing feel safer than staying open?

I noticed recently that my natural response in a challenging time was to withdraw. To conserve my energy for what might unfold, while at the same time using it to contain my emotions and body sensations.

And in doing that, I slowly disconnected. Not just from others, but from myself too.

What later became clear for me was how important it is to stay open.

Because when we withdraw, there is a part of us trying to hold everything together and keep it all within, and that often takes more effort than staying open.

Openness isn’t about forcing vulnerability or pushing past our capacity. It’s about meeting yourself where you are, and choosing small ways to stay present rather disconnecting.

Openness is not always easy, because vulnerability requires a sense of inner safety, a level of trust, and a quiet faith that somehow, even within the storm, everything will be okay.

It doesn’t happen all at once. It’s built in small, meaningful moments - a little openness with a little trust, and then a little more of both over time.

So next time you feel yourself withdrawing, ask yourself:
What do I need right now?

Maybe instead of:
Isolation → choosing connection to yourself, others, or even nature
Pulling away → gently showing up as best you can
Keeping everything held in the body → allowing movement

Vulnerability, openness, trust, and inner safety create the foundation for a strong and supportive inner world.

If you feel called to explore this further, you are welcome to book a session here: https://luminousness.as.me/

There is still time to enjoy the International Women’s Day offering - throughout March and April, each 1.5-hour session includes a lucky dip bonus, with a range of beautiful gifts still available.

Today is International Women’s Day.

The theme this year is Balance the Scales - creating a world where every woman and girl feels safe, heard, and free to shape her own life.

A reminder that many women are still living in survival mode, carrying the weight of trauma, life experiences, and circumstances that disconnect them from themselves and the life they could be living.

Each year I look for ways to support the women around me. My work is about creating a safe space where women can begin moving beyond survival into growth and possibility.

A place where they can reconnect with their own inner wisdom and rediscover what lights them up.

So this year, I’m adding a little something extra. Anyone who books and attends a 1.5 hour online or in-person session during March or April will receive a lucky dip bonus.

These bonuses may include:
✨ session discounts
✨ free remote sessions
✨ personalised support guides
✨ readings
✨ additional follow-up support
✨ and a few other surprises

When women are supported, they reconnect with their truth, trust their inner wisdom, and create lasting change in their lives.

If this feels like the right time for you, you can book your session here:

Yesterday I celebrated International Women’s Day (early) surrounded by an incredible group of inspiring women at a beautiful event hosted by We Elevate .

There is something powerful that happens when women gather.

Working solo in my business can sometimes feel a little lonely. But yesterday was a beautiful reminder of how important community and connection truly are, and that we are not meant to do life alone.

A heartfelt thank you to Cassandra Croucher for bringing together such a wonderful group of women.

One of the things I’ve learned through my own journey is that life becomes clearer through connection. When we gather, share experiences, and listen to each other’s stories, something powerful shifts.

Community isn’t just about social connection. It supports our health and wellbeing in ways we often underestimate.

Here’s to continuing to create meaningful connections that light you up.
