What is your driving force?
What actually gets you moving… completing a task, a project, a course?
Is it stress, pressure, fear, deadlines…
or is it stillness, motivation, inspiration?
It’s interesting to pause and become aware of what truly drives you, because not all action is supportive to your nervous system.
Some movement expands you… while others keep you in survival.
Some energise… while others lead you to burnout or shutdown.
And yet, it’s so common to hear -
“I work best under pressure.”
“Deadlines make me productive.”
But honestly… is that true?
Or is it a pattern built on habits, beliefs, and survival responses?
This is something I’ve been sitting with lately - not just with clients, but within myself too.
Awareness is powerful.
Not when it comes from guilt or self-criticism, but when it’s rooted in curiosity.
When we allow ourselves to become the observer, rather than getting lost in the story, something begins to shift. We start noticing… without needing to immediately fix or change anything.
Sometimes that awareness alone creates change.
Other times, it simply becomes the step before action.
Either way, it matters.
We all carry a past that shapes how we move through the present… and there are always clues and insights, if we’re willing to see them.
So be kind in what you notice.
This isn’t about having all the answers.
It’s about staying curious… almost childlike in the way you explore. Keeping it light, rather than heavy.
✨ I invite you to gently observe what is driving you… and ask yourself - is it sustainable?
There’s no pressure to change it in the moment.
Just notice… and allow awareness to come through.
