Arthritis – Keep Your Joints Moving

With arthritis, movement is medicine:

1️⃣ Hand squeeze: Stress ball, squeeze 3–5 seconds, release. 10–15 times.
2️⃣ Knee extensions: Sit tall, straighten one leg, hold 3 seconds, lower. 10 reps per side.
3️⃣ Shoulder rolls: Circle shoulders forward and backward 10 times each.

Desk Workers – Neck & Shoulder Reset

8+ hours at a desk = stiff neck and sore shoulders. Reset with:
1️⃣ Upper trap stretch: Tilt head to one side, hand gently deepens the stretch. Hold 20 seconds each side.
2️⃣ Levator scap stretch: Turn head 45°, tilt chin toward armpit. Hold 20 seconds each side.
3️⃣ Shoulder blade squeeze: Sit tall, squeeze blades together, hold 5 seconds. Repeat 10 times.

💡 Studies show that 70% of office workers experience neck or shoulder pain at least once a week — but regular micro-breaks and stretches drastically reduce symptoms.

👉 Try these every 2–3 hours for relief.

Your posture doesn’t just affect your spine — it can also change your mood. For Mental Health Week, try these other resets:

1️⃣ Chin tuck: Draw chin gently back, hold 5 seconds. Repeat 10 times.

2️⃣ Cat-cow: On all fours, arch spine (cat), then drop belly and lift chest (cow). Flow 30–60 seconds.

3️⃣ Seated rotation: Sit tall, hand on opposite knee, rotate spine. Hold 20 seconds each side.

👉 Better posture = better mood.
