Carrying tools, lifting, overhead work… it all builds up, and your shoulders cop it.

Here are 3 quick fixes:

1️⃣ Wall angels: Stand against a wall, arms bent at 90°. Slowly raise overhead and return. Repeat 10–12 times.

2️⃣ Band external rotation: Anchor a resistance band, keep elbow tucked at ribs, rotate arm outwards. Do 12–15 reps each side.

3️⃣ Doorway stretch: Place forearms on doorway, step gently through. Hold 20–30 seconds.

👉 These simple drills help tradies stay pain-free.

Osteoporosis – Build Bone Strength

Bones stay strong when you load them. Try these for World Osteoporosis Day:
1️⃣ Step-ups: Onto a box or step, repeat 10 per side.
2️⃣ Chair squats: Sit → stand, repeat 10–12.
3️⃣ Heel drops: On edge of step, rise up, slowly lower heels below step. 10–15 reps.

💡 Fact: Around 1 in 3 women and 1 in 5 men over 50 will suffer an osteoporotic fracture in their lifetime — prevention starts with strength.

Diabetes doesn’t just affect blood sugar — it can also impact your joints, muscles, and circulation.
That’s why regular movement is key. Even simple exercises can help improve mobility, blood flow, and energy.

Here are 3 ways to move better every day 👇

1️⃣ Ankle Circles – Great for circulation. Do 10–15 slow rotations each way while sitting or standing.
2️⃣ Calf Raises – Strengthens your lower legs and boosts blood flow. Stand tall, lift your heels, hold for 2 seconds, and lower slowly.
3️⃣ Seated Spinal Twist – Gently stretch your back and improve posture. Sit upright, twist from your waist to each side, and hold for a few breaths.

These small movements add up — helping reduce stiffness, improve balance, and keep your joints healthy.

If pain, tightness, or fatigue are slowing you down, osteopathy can help restore mobility and support your overall wellbeing.

With arthritis, movement is medicine:

1️⃣ Hand squeeze: Stress ball, squeeze 3–5 seconds, release. 10–15 times.
2️⃣ Knee extensions: Sit tall, straighten one leg, hold 3 seconds, lower. 10 reps per side.
3️⃣ Shoulder rolls: Circle shoulders forward and backward 10 times each.

Desk Workers – Neck & Shoulder Reset

8+ hours at a desk = stiff neck and sore shoulders. Reset with:
1️⃣ Upper trap stretch: Tilt head to one side, hand gently deepens the stretch. Hold 20 seconds each side.
2️⃣ Levator scap stretch: Turn head 45°, tilt chin toward armpit. Hold 20 seconds each side.
3️⃣ Shoulder blade squeeze: Sit tall, squeeze blades together, hold 5 seconds. Repeat 10 times.

💡 Studies show that 70% of office workers experience neck or shoulder pain at least once a week — but regular micro-breaks and stretches drastically reduce symptoms.

👉 Try these every 2–3 hours for relief.
