The Instrument Certification of Assessment of Support Needs (I-CAN) is the new gold standard. Instead of you footing the bill for expensive medical assessments, an accredited assessor will guide you through a 3-hour appointment to determine your Support Intensity Score.
They’ll be looking at 12 key domains, including:
• Mobility 🚶‍♀️
• Self-care 🧼
• Communication 🗣️
The Catch? This is a computer-driven program. If your evidence doesn’t “speak the language” of this new system, your funding could be at risk.
