OMG FFS!!!!

Have you ever had a moment in time where one minute you are high fiving yourself for how far you have come, only within minutes to come crashing down in a pile of s**t where you start wondering what the f**k you must of been thinking????

This was me today! Yup see real life photo below!

So on that point I am super curious how well do you take feedback?

You know the good old constructive criticism???

I am a f**king legend and handing it out, not so awesome on the other side.

Can you relate?

Does this sound like you?

Do you get all defensive and go into total explanation and justification mode or even worse do you lose your s**t???? Or perhaps you just go silent salk.

Yup your not alone my friend it f**king SUX>>>>>

Why is it that so many of us find it excruciating to get feedback that in truth will just help us to be the best we can be?

I have given this a lot of thought and this is what I have come up with.

It is the human condition to want to belong.

We want to be liked.

We want to be loved.

We want to be accepted.

So when we get feedback that is not positive the adult leaves the room and our wounded child is left standing in the corner looking for acceptance.

No matter how much work we have done in moments like this the shame can wash over us and all rhyme and reason goes out the window.

I had a moment just like this today and I literally threw my toys out of the pram as I went into a shame spiral that for the better part of 2 hours that had me questioning absof**kinglutely EVERYTHING.......

So this is me acknowledging that moment and letting my 6 year old self know.

You matter.
You are important.
You are enough.

Don't give up, you have important work to do and if you keep working at it you will get there.

When I was 7 years old I never shut up, I mean I was full on.

I was one of those kids that could talk with a mouth full of marbles underwater and I would barely take a breath, so it's no surprise that today I get paid, good money to do just that!

But I have to tell you, even though as a kid it came so natural to me, it would be a series of trials and tribulations and more than my fair share of dark nights of the soul before I would finally take that leap of faith that has me now living the life I secretly dreamed of as a kid.

So as a teenager I was freaking obsessed with the Oprah show.

Oprah has pulled me through many dark times and watching her show always helped me to find a glimmer of hope no matter what was happening in my life at the time.

In fact I have watched every episode of her show and her stories and guests still inspire me today.

I remember in 1997 It was the middle of the night and I was probably on day 3 or 4 of no sleep,( yup use your imagination), anyway I found myself watching an episode of Oprah where she was interviewing Jim Carey.

In this episode Jim was recounting his stories of sitting on Mulholland drive before he had made it as an actor, visualizing the home he would live in when he made it and the money he would make, he even talked about how he wrote himself a check for 10,000,000 for services rendered which he carried in his wallet.

I was super intrigued.

His story today is well known and not long after he did in fact make 10,000,000 when he starred in The Mask, securing his spot in Hollywood as a bona fide A Lister.

This was the first time I had ever heard anything like this and I was freaking hooked.
Looking back, I can honestly say, me seeing that episode played a role in saving my life as it made me realise I had the power to live the life of my dreams no matter how s**t my current reality looked.
I realized my current reality was not my final destination, all I had to do was get clear on what I wanted with the only limitation being my imagination.
Now not long after seeing this episode thanks to some divine intervention, a great friend and awesome parents I was back in Australia getting my life back on track, but that’s a story for another time.
One thing I never forgot though and I have used it ever since is the power of visualization.
Since that time I have been an absolute manifestation and visualization Ju**ie and I have to tell you of all the addictions I have had, yup there has been a few, this one is hands down the most useful.
As my good mate Napoleon Hill once said "If your mind can conceive you can achieve it", so my friends the only limitation you have is your mind.
So here is my invitation to your ultimate life!

I am so pumped and excited to introduce you to my bestie of 20 years Emma Barbato.


Em and I have been on so many adventures over the last 20 years not least of which I credit her for pretty much saving me from myself when I had crossed over to the dark side AGAIN back in 2007.


Emma has gone through so many transformations and reinventions in the time I have known her but one thing is consistent.
