✨ “I’m not smart enough ✨

This was the story I carried for years.

Every stumble, hesitation, every comparison was the proof my brain collected to “confirm” I wasn’t enough.

It’s called confirmation bias and it could be running the show, like it was for me.

Until I changed the belief.

I did the deep work:
💫 Embodiment
💫 Mindset
💫 Healing the parts of me that didn’t feel enough

Everything shifted for me after that.
I stopped overthinking and created with ease. Actually I wrote a whole course, what you know as: The C-section Release Method.
Not because I got smarter, but because I stopped believing those thoughts!

If you wait until you feel ready, smart enough, capable, you may never achieve those goals you dream about!

This is why I created The Embodied Practitioner. It really, truly feels like a body of work. It’s everything I have learnt over my 15 years in business. It’s mindset, it’s strategy, it’s feminine and so much more.

Let me hold your hand while you grow 💫

To round out this is for my endo girlies 🫶🏼

If you’re in pain, flaring, or just over feeling like your body is working against you—here are 3 things you can start doing right now (from a bodywork POV) 👇🏼

1. Learn to breathe really well:
A proper 360° breath regulates your nervous system, supports lymphatic flow, helps digestion, and creates a sense of safety in your body.
It’s the first thing I assess and honestly it’s rare I see someone with endo doing this well.

2. Massage your whole belly, womb, and deep into your hips:
And do it consistently. Most endo bodies I treat feel hard, guarded, and disconnected here, which makes so much sense when you’ve been in pain for years.

3. Support your lymphatic system:
Simple self-lymphatic work can shift so much. I always recommend “The Big 6” by Dr Perry—every day for 30 days at least.

This is exactly the homework I give my patients with endo!
Comment ❤️‍🔥 if this is something you will try!

POV… Your client comes in with low back pain and you know they have multiple abdominal scars..

Here’s your reminder:
✨ Just because a scar looks healed…
doesn’t mean it’s functioning well.

Scars can disrupt:
– Muscle activation
– Fascial glide
– Nervous system signalling

And more!

If you want to find a practitioner near you, comment “help”.

If you’re a bodyworker and you want to be able to use these skills to help your patients, comment “course” and join me in 2026 on The C-section Release Method.

From a bodywork POV.

Derived from:

• The patterns I have seen in my fertility patients 🤍

• The lessons my body taught me after 2 miscarriages, TTC and navigating pregnancy after loss, twice 🕊️

• My own journey of reconnecting to my womb space (after a long time disconnected) 🌹

If you are TTC, do you feel safe in your body? Can you visualise where your womb sits in your body? If you feel your womb is it warm or cold?

If you’re a bodyworker and you want to help women reconnect to their womb, my course The C-section Release Method level 2 is where you learn this ❣️

Level 2- The C-section Release Method Auckland!!

Thank you to these women chose to go deeper, to see the body differently, to learn to hold their clients at whole new depths.

We dove deeper to the breath, postpartum, scars, endometriosis, fertility, exercise.

Ah ha moments, letting go- physically and emotionally, new connections, and loads of learning.

Thank you so much for joining me 🤍

A special mention to and for support me, the practitioners and so much more!

Mumma, do you have the ‘ick’ when it comes to touching or thinking about touching your scar?

Firstly, you are not alone!

What you’re feeling is actually incredibly common post surgery.

The good news!! I successfully help many women overcome this.

If your scar is still in projection mode, if you feel disconnected from your scar and if your scar gives you the “ick”, I would love to help you learn safety again.

I have many resources available for you. Comment “ebook” for a link to my C-section recovery ebook. Comment “cupping” to receive a link to my at home scar release kit. Comment “help” to find a practitioner I have trained near you!

Or book in to see me online or in-clinic at Ettalong Beach via the link in my bio ✨

And sending love to the mumma who has the “ick” ❣️

You can know you’re worthy, capable, enough… but if your body hasn’t released the subconscious blocks holding you back, it stays stuck in your nervous system and shows up every time you do to grow!

In The Embodied Practitioner, a mentorship specifically for bodyworkers, we release these at the root cause - body, nervous system, energy, so you can show up fully in your work, your business, and your life.

My waitlist is open for The Embodied Practitioner a 4 month container for bodyworkers who want to grow their business.

4 modules, education based, 1:1 support, expansion guaranteed. Only 10 places will be available.

I’m launching soon and I cannot wait to help you ❤️‍🔥

DM me to get on my waitlist!

Hi, I’m Madelaine Longrigg, founder of Body Lane.

I’m a passionate bodyworker, educator, presenter, coach and mother of two.

For over a decade I’ve dedicated my work to helping women reconnect with their bodies.

What started as a love for movement and healing evolved into specialised work supporting women through birth recovery, C-section healing, endometriosis, fertility challenges, trauma and chronic pain.

And now I teach bodyworkers to do the same work- so more women can be supported.

Here’s the truth most people don’t know:

A lot of the work I teach today came from a time when I was completely disconnected and unregulated in my own body.

I became fascinated with the body because I saw what happens when pain, stress and emotional suppression live there for years.
It changes your nervous system, your tissue, the person you are.

I truely believe women deserve far better care for their bodies than what the system offers- and I’ve made it my mission to change that.

This is how you can work with me:
Women— in person or online: bodywork post c-section, for endometriosis and period pain, for fertility support, during pregnancy and for birth preparation. Plus all my amazing resources: scar recovery ebook, scar recovery kit, and more.
Bodyworkers— The C-section Release Method, The Embodied Practitioner coaching container.

Outside of work, I’m a mum obsessed with my kids, I actually practice what I teach– movement, breathwork, lymphatic and nervous system work.
And I also love; a spicy marg, a boogy, the ocean, and laughing loudly with my people.

And for my fellow woo woo girls, I am a:
Leo sun ☀️
Aries moon ❤️‍🔥
Virgo rising 🌎
2/4 Generator

Which basically means I care deeply, lead boldly, trust my instincts, and sometimes get a little unhinged (in the best way!).

Thanks for being here 🫶🏼

If you’re ready to reconnect with your body, scale your skills, or step into bigger impact as a bodyworker– you’re in the right place.

If I’m being completely honest… a lot of women are walking around with bodies that never fully processed their C-section.

Birth trauma affects 1 in 3 women!!! This statistic is absolutely wild and should outrage every single one of us!

Not every C-section is traumatic. But a lot of women experienced fear, loss of control, loss of power and voice, shock, overwhelm, or a birth that didn’t unfold the way they expected.

And regardless of the story, surgery itself is a trauma to the body, the cells, the tissues, and the nervous system.

The body always keeps the score.

There are so many moments in clinic where I place my hands on a scar and a woman feels something she hasn’t allowed herself to feel since the day she gave birth.

Grief.
Relief.
Anger.
Love.
All of it.

Because her body finally feels safe enough to release what it has been holding.
And as a bodyworker holding someone while they let that go, is one of the most magical experiences. Seeing their body become light, free and calm is truely beautiful.

If you experienced birth trauma, I’m sending you so much love. And I want you to know that your body deserves the space to process and release what it’s been holding.

Bodywork can be a powerful way to help you move through you.

Drop a ❣️ in the comments if you experienced birth trauma or 🫶🏼 if you want to send the mum with birth trauma love.

If you’re ready to reconnect with your body after C-section, you can book a session online or in person via the link in my bio.
