Our thoughts and feelings are intimately interconnected with the way we physically move through life and present ourselves in situations.

Your internal environment is everything!
It is always investigating the surrounding areas.
Ultimately the assessment is whether it's a valuable space to open or a necessary moment to draw inward.
So many ways to look at this realm of enticing the nervous system, it's intelligence, old patterns and reawakened wisdom.

It's real time learning, listening to what the environment feels like right now.

Our bodies are vessels of experiencing.
And it's the fascial networks that retain thoughts, emotions and memories.

It's the actual fabric that bonds our individual reality.

So unique in form, that science can only suggest possible patterns arising from experience. It's our individual perception, developed from our environment and relationships that sculpt this fabric that holds our big life stories. Buoyancy, laxity and tension patterns within the fascia can contort the positioning of the bones, affecting muscle tension and strength, posture, movement, energy levels and even organ function.

In 25yrs of working with clients from various walks of life, from world ranked athletes, to the chronically ill and those working with deep embedded patterns of trauma, there is not a formula that treats everyone.

So having resources and skills to notice, see, feel and respond, within your treatments is everything. Having formulas offer a strong foundation for your bodywork therapy sessions. We do however need more than this, it requires sensory intelligence, being able to see and talk through your touch.

I'm offering up a platter of classes and workshops to the Magnetic Island community. This will be an experience into the tapestry of the human form, and the interwoven relationships with the mind and emotions. Through the lens of Structural Energetics, we will explore how fascia affects muscular tension, posture, pain and movement. Venturing through a range of yogic practices, somatic inquiry and innovative stretch therapy, we will illuminate the bodies freedom and liberation.

Classes and workshops will be engaging, intriguing and cultivate a deeper listening of your own body and others. Classes are fully guided practices, with intricate flavours to access a deeper sense of self and empowering solo and partnered practices. Workshops are educational and experiential, where we delve into the parts of the whole, cultivating wholeness and harmony.
