Hi Everyone,

My name is Annabelle, I am currently completing my 4th and final year in Bachelor of Disability and Developmental Education. Once completed I graduate as a Developmental Educator, a allied health professional who supports individuals with disabilities with skill development such as communication, independent living skills, and social skills.

As part of the degree I am needing to complete a Positive Behaviour Support placement and have the wonderful pleasure of doing this at Ability2Bloom. Ability2Bloom caught my eye with what they provide and their approach, with supports to all people to be seen and supported. I am excited to be able to complete my placement here with an amazing group of people with lots of knowledge about the disability sector.

Meet our newest social worker student completing her final placement in her Master Degree. We are so fortunate to have Uyen (aka Taylor) join our little team here at A2B.

Taylor comes with a range of experiences with 9 years working in the community development sector here in Australian and Vietnam.

Throughout her journey, she has been working closely with young people, migrants, people with disabilities, and disadvantaged communities. Her focus is in capacity building and she is committed to helping people reach their full potential, as she strongly believes that “Everyone has something to contribute. Sometimes, they just need the right environment to bloom”.

Outside of her work, study, and volunteering commitment, she enjoys spending time with her nephew, doing some reading, gardening, playing badminton and table tennis.

We can't wait to see her grow into an amazing social worker and the positive impact she’ll continue to make.
