Moss Agate feels like stepping straight into a fairy forest 🌿🧚‍♀️

The Wolf Moon is the January full moon, rising during warm summer nights in the Southern Hemisphere. 🐺

It carries strong energy around instinct, emotion, protection, & truth, a time when feelings rise & inner voices get louder! 💫

🐺 WHY IS IT CALLED THE WOLF MOON?
The name comes from ancient Northern Hemisphere traditions, where wolves were often heard howling during midwinter.
Spiritually, the wolf represents loyalty, survival, intuition, & standing your ground, which still carry power today.

The tradition dates back over 4,000 years to ancient Babylon! People would make promises to their gods to repay debts, return borrowed items, or improve themselves, basically early goal setting🏺💫

Later, the Romans continued the practice, dedicating the start of the year to Janus, the two-faced god of beginnings & transitions, symbolizing looking backward & forward 🏛️✨

♀️ THE MAGIC OF WOMEN’S BODIES ♀️

Let’s talk about the stuff no one really wants to talk about, but absolutely everyone should.
The moods, bloating, pain, exhaustion, hormonal shifts. Especially if you’re struggling to understand your body. It isn’t working against you, it’s just trying to communicate.

🩸 Period
Hormones drop & the body releases. Energy is lower, cramps & aches can appear, emotions sit closer to the surface. This is a natural reset phase that asks for rest & boundaries.

💄 After Period (follicular)
Estrogen rises & the body rebuilds. Bloating eases, energy lifts, focus returns. Motivation & creativity increase as the body moves forward again.

🩷 Ovulation
Estrogen peaks & an egg is released. Confidence, libido, social & the "I'm a total babe" energy rise. Many women feel more expressive, magnetic, & connected during this phase.

Let’s talk about some of the Christmas bad guys, the darker figures woven into the festive tradition!

The Grinch 💚
The Grinch was created by Dr. Seuss in 1957 & is a modern Christmas villain. His “badness” comes from emotional pain rather than cruelty. He hates Christmas because he feels excluded, lonely, & misunderstood. Seeing others celebrate highlights what he lacks, turning sadness into bitterness. The Grinch represents how isolation & unresolved hurt/trauma can harden the heart, & his story shows that connection, not punishment, is what restores joy! 🎁

Krampus 👹
Krampus comes from Alpine folklore in Austria & Germany, with roots in pre-Christian pagan traditions. He appears during early December as the dark counterpart to Saint Nicholas. While St Nick rewarded good children, Krampus punished bad behaviour. His horns & animal features symbolise untamed instincts, his chains represent control & consequence, & the bells warned of his approach. Krampus wasn’t meant to be evil for fun, he existed to teach discipline, fear, & accountability! 🎄

Père Fouettard 🖤
Père Fouettard originates from French & Central European folklore & appears alongside Saint Nicholas. Known as the one who delivers punishment instead of gifts, he represents guilt & moral consequence. Some legends say he was once a criminal who was forced to repent by punishing misbehaviour in others. Unlike Krampus, he is human, symbolising the idea that wrongdoing leaves lasting consequences & redemption often comes with responsibility. 🎅🏼

These characters weren’t created to ruin Christmas
They exist to balance it, light & shadow, reward & consequence, generosity & accountability ✨☯️
