Has been a really hectic last few months with these days being the norm and with no real spare time to invest into posting or finding helpful information for living a Ketogenic lifestyle.

To be perfectly open and transparent I have not been living 100% committed with needing to grab food on the run.

That has to be the benefit of having exogenous ketones in the toolbox, keeping many of the health benefits of a full ketogenic lifestyle.

Keeping active, moving ones body is the most important part of any journey. Just remember that, no matter what the entry level is just move your body daily. Luckily with job requirements I get plenty km's in daily

Once you have become a fat burning machine a little wine treat can be enjoyed without destroying your journey.

This way of life is exactly that, a way of life and as such we need to find ways of fitting things in.

I have choosen to remove alcohol from my life for long periods and have enjoyed a few wines or even beers at other times. Its all about knowing the effects and pre planning.

Finding your personal carb tolerance is critical to living this lifestyle for a long time is my belief.
Everyone can tolerate different amounts of carbs, carbs are not the enemy, it is your bodies reaction to the carbs.

As always best way is to stay away from processed carbs I believe of any kind. These can lead you down a slippery slope.
As you live this lifestyle for a while most can tolerate more carbs or if your a heavy trainer most can. My 17yr old son can have processed pasta and be back into ketosis the next morning without any excercise.

Breaking bad ISO habits

Can not believe how easy and delicious this is. Lasts a good time in the fridge (if its not eaten) and is bang on keto.

💥A staple, treat or meal on the go💥

A couple of different chia seed puddings being made this morning, great with warm keto waffles on these cold winters mornings.

1can coconut milk (refrigerate if discarding water)
1 can coconut cream
Alot say to discard the water, I use whole can. Not to worried about extra carbs and I use
1pkt Keto//Kreme
1/2 cup organic chia seeds
1/4 tsp natural vanilla extract or powder
Pinch of Pink Himalayan salt
Cinnamon to taste

Grate some 90%+ dark chocolate over for a extra treat.

Kreme has cinnamon in it also along with stevia so I do not add any sweetner. You could use a sweetner and extra cinnamon if not using Kreme. Add some milk of choice if discarding water.

Add caoca for chocolate and possibly some extra sweetner depending on your taste.

Just because it's Keto doesn't make it healthy.......

One of the things that has annoyed us to screaming point for the last 7 years is the amount of people that do keto unhealthy like and wonder why they get sick. They have even termed a name for it now "Dirty Keto"
It has lead us to leave some online forums and groups over the years as it just does our heads in.

With the popularity and increased awareness of low carb or keto lifestyle we are setting out to complile a list/resource of things to help the keto community in Canberra.

First will be keto friendly restaurants......
With the holidays coming to a end we have been asked many times this question so lets have you drop your favourite or even just keto friendly restaurants in the comments with there canberra location (City, Belconnen, Woden etc) and we will put them all into a easily searchable post.

Please help out as I do not eat put often and generally just make anything work when I do, however, others like to be more structured.
