Infinite awareness...
Have you heard of this before?
In tonight's meditation class, we practised how to observe with ever expanding conscious awareness within our mind. Connecting to the infinite possibilities we hold inside our minds, without attachment, but simply with gentle observation.
We hold the universe within ourselves, which in itself is infinite, and this practise of observing, with ever expanding awareness, trains our minds to observe what is happening both internally and externally, without getting caught up in our thoughts.
This in turn can help us better adapt to changes, to deepen our relationship with ourselves and others, and it calms our nervous system, reducing anxiety, relieving depression, and reducing pain, when we can simply observe with non-attachment.
