Lower face rejuvenation is one of my favourite areas to treat and one that requires a thoughtful, tailored approach.
As we age, natural changes occur: fat pads gradually diminish, collagen and elastin decline, and the skin begins to lose its structural support. This often presents as heaviness in the lower face, increased laxity, and the formation of jowls.
While surgical options such as a facelift can provide more dramatic lifting with longer downtime, many patients seek non-surgical solutions that offer gradual and meaningful results These treatments require patience, precision, and a deep understanding of facial anatomy.
The key to successfully addressing the lower face is recognising that no single treatment can correct jowling. A comprehensive approach is essential, typically combining structural contouring, collagen stimulation for skin tightening, and modulation of the platysma muscle.
When performed with the right technique and clinical judgment, non-surgical lower face rejuvenation can deliver refined, balanced results that respect the patientโs natural features and age.
