✨Cellulite Buttock Treatment✨
Subcision + Radiesse

Cellulite is a common and natural skin condition that may present as dimpling or uneven skin texture on the buttocks and thighs. It is associated with fibrous connective bands beneath the skin, as well as changes in skin structure and collagen over time.
Subcision is a medical procedure that involves the release of fibrous bands beneath the skin.
Radiesse is used to support collagen stimulation and improve skin structure.

At Aesthetic Doctors Australia, a combination approach using Subcision and Radiesse may be considered as part of a tailored treatment plan for concerns such as cellulite, surface irregularities and hip contour variations.

A comprehensive consultation is required to assess individual concerns, discuss potential risks and benefits, and determine suitability for treatment.

Performed by Dr Rakib
Registered Medical Practitioner – MED0001936872

Results vary between individuals. All medical procedures carry risks and potential complications. A full medical consultation is required to determine suitability.

What I love most about my work isn’t just the treatments — it’s the people.

Taking the time to truly look after my patients, listen to their concerns, and guide them through their journey is just as important as the results.

Education is a big part of what we do here. Understanding facial anatomy, how the face ages, and what each treatment can (and can’t) do allows patients to make informed, confident decisions.
Safe, thoughtful, and personalised care always.

After an intense day of hands-on training, I sat down with for an honest Q&A on non-surgical buttock contouring vs surgical BBL.

One of the most interesting insights?
We’re now seeing many patients who previously had BBL wanting fat reduction, and instead looking for non-surgical solutions to address concerns like:
• Laxity
• Hip dips
• And the biggest concern of all - Cellulite

Cellulite remains one of the hardest conditions to treat.
Energy-based devices alone often fall short.

Dr David explains why combining biostimulators with subcision can create dramatic, long-lasting improvements in skin quality and contour and especially for CELLULITE

Biostimulator skin rejuvenation: understanding the difference

This comparison highlights a biostimulator treatment using Radiesse® (calcium hydroxylapatite) combined with NCTF.

What is NCTF?
NCTF is a revitalising mesotherapy solution containing vitamins, amino acids, minerals, antioxidants and hyaluronic acid. When combined with Radiesse, it enhances skin quality by supporting hydration, cellular repair and collagen stimulation.

When Radiesse is diluted 1:2 or 1:4 ( in the neck ) with NCTF, the focus shifts from volume to skin quality improvement — helping to:
• Improve fine lines and wrinkles
• Enhance skin texture and elasticity
• Improve overall skin quality and radiance

Radiesse provides an initial subtle volume, which then settles. Over the following 6 weeks, collagen production is stimulated, leading to gradual, natural-looking improvement.

👉 Treatment protocol:
• 2 sessions recommended
• 6 weeks apart

✔️ Painless procedure
✔️ Minimal downtime (approximately 24 hours)

Important to note:
This treatment does not lift jowls. Its role is to tighten the skin and improve skin quality, not to replace lifting procedures.

⚠️ Disclaimer:
Results vary from person to person. A full consultation is required to assess suitability and create an individualised treatment plan prior to any procedure.

Finally completed an advanced body contouring training in Brazil with renowned Brazilian plastic surgeon

An intensive, hands-on day focused on biostimulator treatments such as Radiesse, addressing hip dips, buttock cellulite, laxity and non-surgical butt lift. What truly stood out is the Brazilian approach highly artistic, refined and natural, with most patients seeking an athletic, balanced result rather than an overdone look. Biostimulators are used very commonly here and are considered both safe and effective when performed with the right protocols. Dr David is particularly well known for his 3D buttock treatment protocol, which holistically targets cellulite, skin laxity and volume loss.

I also had the privilege of spending time with leading dermatologist Dr Gustavo, discussing the use of Morpheus and Ultherapy, and how energy-based devices can be strategically combined with Radiesse for optimal body contouring outcomes. A special mention to Dr Carolina, plastic surgeon and part of Dr David’s team, for generously sharing her clinical insights and experience.

I’m excited to bring these advanced techniques back to Melbourne, with before-and-after results coming very soon. Stay tuned. 🇧🇷💙

Hip dips are a natural part of anatomy — but for those wanting smoother curves, non-surgical solutions are evolving.

✨ Hip dip treatments coming soon
I’m travelling all the way to São Paulo, Brazil to train with renowned plastic surgeon in body contouring, learning advanced techniques to treat hip dips and cellulite using biostimulators , a powerful, non-surgical alternative to BBL.

Brazil leads the world in body aesthetics, and learning directly from the best means safer techniques, better outcomes, and natural-looking results for my patients.

In your 40s and 50s, the lower face ages due to a combination of bone resorption, volume loss, muscle dominance, and skin laxity.
As support is lost, fat pads descend and depressor muscles ( DAO and platysma) pull downward leading to jowls, marionette lines, a softer jawline, and downturned mouth corners.
A thorough assessment is essential to restore structure and balance while keeping results natural

There is some evidence of how fillers has tendency to migrate if placed incorrectly
Dr Schelke from described how fillers injected as a deep bolus on lateral SOOF can move into the superficial temporal fat pad which may give a puffy look especially with patients who gets repeated fillers on their cheek with the intention to lift the face
Unfortunately fillers does not lift your face , it may give an illusion of a lift. Adding excessive fillers widens the cheek

Hence a consult to assess suitability of Cheek treatment is important

Note - Filler appears dark on the ultrasound
