Eastern Health has partnered with some amazing community organisations to bring This Girl Can to the Yarra Ranges.

This Girl Can is about empowering women to focus on how getting active feels, instead of worrying about what people think, so we’re inviting women, girls & non-binary people to join us from 4-7pm at Lillydale Lake on Thursday the 19th of October to try some new activity options in a safe and comfortable environment. Best of all, it’s free.

Due to the continuing increase in COVID-19 cases and recent outbreaks. We have made the difficult and considered decision to re-introduce visitor restrictions.

We are aware of the challenges patients and their loved ones may have as a result of these restrictions. However, we are still making every effort to protect our patients, carers, visitors and our staff.

You can help reduce the spread and thus, allow visitor restrictions to be reduced again by getting vaccinated, wearing a mask (even when you don't have to) and practising physical distancing where you can.

Architectural firm Silver Thomas Hanley has been appointed by the Victorian Government to design the $112 million Angliss Hospital expansion.

This state-of-the-art project will deliver a new 32-bed inpatient unit, four operating theatres, a new central sterile supply department and spaces for outpatient services.

With the region served by Eastern Health projected to grow to more than 1.1 million people by 2036, including one in five aged 65 years or older, increased capacity at the Angliss Hospital will ensure that it’s able to meet both current and future demand.
