We were pleased to welcome Ambulance Victoria to our IOE small groups this week đźš‘
Participants took part in an engaging presentation, learning about what happens in an emergency, when to call an ambulance, and how paramedics help keep our community safe.
Opportunities like this help build confidence, reduce anxiety, and create familiarity with essential services in a safe and supportive environment.
A big thank you to the team for sharing their knowledge and connecting with our participants đź’›

Be Part of the Story: Name Our New Holiday House
We’re inviting our community to be part of something special as we launch a fun competition to name our new holiday house in Tootgarook. This fully accessible home, designed to comfortably sleep up to 14 people, will provide a welcoming space for connection, relaxation, and memorable getaways. Now you have the chance to help shape its identity, whether your idea is coastal, playful, or meaningful, we’d love to hear it. Submit your best name for a chance to win and leave your mark on a place that will be enjoyed by many for years to come.

Play is powerful. Each Kids Collective session runs for 3 hours, providing the predictability of a consistent venue, dedicated staff team and a familiar rhythm.
Collaborative play is at the forefront of planned activities, whilst ensuring there is enough choice and flexibility for kids to have fun. Kids Collective offers children a chance to play, explore and connect with peers in a fun, supportive, and natural environment. Sessions are designed to boost confidence, encourage social connection, and let every child thrive through the joy of play.

đź’› Students supporting community! đź’›

On March 6, Caulfield Grammar School, Wheelers Hill campus held a free dress day to raise funds for Interchange Outer East (IOE).

The event was organised by our wonderful volunteer, Lacy Wastell, who is a student at the school. Lacy wanted to share how much she loves volunteering with IOE and the difference it makes. Thank you Lacy for your initiative and support!

Our Volunteer Team is always looking to connect with local high schools so we can speak with students and promote volunteering opportunities.

If you have connections with teachers or local high schools, please reach out to Paulo on 0400 154 049 or email volunteers@ioe.org.au.
