Our Myanmarese Family Camp wouldn’t be the same without our incredible volunteers. 💛

From early starts to late night chats, from organising activities to quietly offering support, our volunteers showed up with patience, kindness and genuine care. They created a space where young people and families felt welcomed, understood and celebrated.

Camps like this are about connection, culture, community and belonging and our volunteers are at the heart of making that happen.

Thank you for giving your time, energy, and compassion. We see the difference you make, and we are so grateful. 🌟

⭐JOIN US TOMORROW!⭐

Looking for a fun, inclusive space to hang out and meet new people?

Join us at Maroondah Nets, where Interchange Outer East partnering with Maroondah City Council, hosts regular sessions for young adults to connect, unwind, and enjoy themselves. IOE’s friendly staff will facilitate the sessions, but please note that personal support is not provided, so feel free to bring a support worker if needed. The space includes a private room upstairs with elevator access, a Changing Places accessible bathroom, and a kitchenette for heating food. You will find board games, arts & crafts and a sensory corner available to enjoy and sometimes a theme week. It’s all about creating a relaxed, fun environment where you can make new friends and have a great time!

Thursdays Fortnightly 6pm - 8pm
Maroondah Nets154 Heathmont Road, Heathmont
Cost: $10
No booking required.
Not available during school holidays.

All welcome!

How Wonderful!
A beautiful Cafe Tasty Az is open in Lilydale, drop in and you may see some of our IOE participants.

From the Cafe:
"Our Special Place" ❤️ is the name of our new little cafe offering pathways to employment and intensive cafe training for our team. We are located at 5 Albert Hill Road Lilydale. (opposite the police station) Just look for the green door and hum that gorgeous old tune by Jim Lowe yes that is the one.

We have our freshly baked scones. handmade cookies, slices, cakes an extensive range of gluten free & vegan products including pancakes & waffles., soups, sandwiches, toasties, great coffee & so much more. Open 7 am till 2 pm Monday to Saturday. Please spread the word we would love to see you come check out what is going on behind the green door.
