Ulysses Gardens Meditation & Relaxation Centre

Ulysses Gardens Meditation & Relaxation Centre A place to find yourself away from the queues, the internet, 4G. Sit and read, meditate, listen to music, meet others of like minds, just chill.

Pass the Platypus Bush Camp on your right. Over the next creek crossing, go about 100m on your left. Look for the Ullyses Garden Cafe. Very close to the road. The road terminates at the National Park 2km further.

“In court proceedings the penalties for interfering with witnesses or evidence can be severe. So, should Parliament be any different?

A shocking leak has this week revealed the extent to which the Albanese Government is directing public servants to cover up information that should be made public.

These directions on how to obfuscate, evade and distort have come right from the top.

Labor’s guide to hiding information was written and distributed by the Prime Minister’s Office.

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese promised to be a warrior for transparency, but instead has an office writing a manual to hide the truth.

In 2022 Mr Albanese said that “the Australian people deserve accountability and transparency, not secrecy.” Apparently the transparency standard only applied to other people, not Mr Albanese’s own Government.

What is it that Labor is trying to hide? Let’s start with the waste of taxpayers’ money.”

And they wonder why no one trusts government.

I think there should be government free zones

Sad this, but so is clubbing koalas to make room for panels. A very costly mistake.

I want to shift a lot of stuff from the cafe. There may be many bargains among it. Anyone interested should come and take a look.
I am hoping to reopen the Cafe shortly but must clear all the “stuff”. Out with the old & in with the new!

Any day now…

More than forty major elections are scheduled to take place in 2024, including Australia, the United Kingdom, Russia, the United States, the European Union, India, Ghana, Pakistan, Taiwan and Mexico.
That’s why so many countries have spent the last year or so, pushing a whole raft of new censorship laws through their parliaments.
All in the name of “keeping you safe”, of course.
The truth is, global elites are terrified that free speech on the internet, could lead to outcomes that they cannot control – as happened with Brexit, the election of Trump and, more recently, Australia’s ‘Voice’ Referendum.
Which is why no-one should underestimate the significance of Labor’s Online Safety Bill.
It represents an all-out attack on our most fundamental rights: the right to privacy and anonymity, the right of free discourse, the right of free debate, the right of free thought and the right to free expression.
The Bill’s stated aims are deeply authoritarian and should provoke our deepest outrage.
It is about taking the internet out of the people’s hands and putting it in theirs.
The internet is the one place left, where independent thinkers and dissidents can communicate with each other anonymously, and where people can still hear and debate alternative viewpoints.
That’s why they hate and fear it so much.
And why they are doing everything in their power to convert the internet into a closed propaganda system, where only THEY get to be heard and where there will be NO ONE left to challenge what THEY say.
Dissent in all its form is to be demonised, then criminalised and, ultimately, banished altogether.
Protecting free speech on the internet is not just some abstract concept.
It is crucial for preserving open debate and accomplishing anything.
If we lose the ability to organise and be heard – if everyone becomes subject to the same messaging, then our ability to challenge or counter anything, will cease to exist.

“Our lives begin to end when we become silent about the things that matter”!

CLIMATE ZEALOTS v. KOALAS

The proposed Clare Creek Wind farm in Queensland will destroy 1,513 hectares of Koala habitat.
That’s a Koala habitat set for destruction the equivalent of an area the size of 2,800 football fields.
The environmental management plan calls for "unviable" koalas and other medium sized and larger mammals to be euthanised by "using blunt force trauma" being a "hard, sharp blow to the base of the back of the skull with a blunt metal or heavy wooden bar"
The plan also notes, "the anatomy of the skull varies greatly between species and some will require more force than others" and that "Appropriate tools to undertake blunt trauma are to be carried by all suitably experienced spotters. Larger tools (e.g. large crowbars or sledge hammers) are to be available in each car"

Gratitude is a great way of doing that: reminding ourselves of all that’s going right in our lives, of broadening our perspective as we strive to be objective.
