Well after 4 years off and being gelded it was time Baxter come back to endurance and he didn't disappointed we completed 286km and got 2 of our 80s done. I'm super proud of him he just got better and better each ride.
2025 has been our best endurance season yet a massive thanks to Martin, Kerrie and Carolyn without you 3 I wouldn't have been able to do it.
Thanks to our riding partners Chelsea, Ashleigh , Donna, Sallyann and Dannielle.
Let's get our next 80 done Baxter we have more to achieve

After Hours Contact Update ⭐

We are pleased to let our clients know that you can now simply call your closest GVG clinic after hours, and you will be automatically redirected to our after hours team.

This means no extra numbers to remember and faster access to the care your animals need! 🚨

If you ever have an urgent concern outside of business hours, just phone your usual clinic and follow the prompts.

For our clients with our previous after hours number still saved, this will still divert you through to the team.

Massive thanks to the GERZ committee for putting on the last ride of the year. Thanks to all the volunteers for helping wether it was TPRing, checkpointing or ride sec. Massive shout out to Digger for keeping everything running smoothly and being so positive. Our Vets you are always amazing, thanks for changing your mind on the BC being under saddle.
Now my camp.
Baxter you little legend thank you for carrying me around 90km (we got a little lost 🤦‍♀️). It was our toughest track so far, the hills kept coming, then so did the rain but in the end Baxter had all A's and 1's across the board 🥰 and now we have our 2nd 80km, only 1 to go before we are open status.
you are an absolute champion strapping for me I really appreciate everything you did for Baxter and I.

The final ride of the Victorian Endurance Riders' Association (VERA) calendar 📅 is happening in Toongabbie with the social rides (short distances) on the 15th of November, it's a great place if you want to try endurance, the tracks are easy and there are heaps of people to help you out. The longer distances will happen on the Sunday.
If you want to give endurance a go yell out and I can help you out.

Wow what a massive weekend we finally completed our first 80km ride at the Moyston CFA Fundraiser. We place 3rd Heavyweight in 7 hours and 7 minutes and coming home with the Vets Choice award generously sponsored by Donna and Drew.
Firstly a massive shout out to my main man Baxter you blew me away over the weekend, not a foot wrong.
Sallyann Duke and Des you are are both superstars guiding us around our first 80. This is the first ride Baxter has been able to go side by side with another horse 🥰
My super Strapping team Martin, Donna, Drew, Alexa and Tayla you all did amazing getting us through and Baxter looked beautiful for Best Conditioned.
Sioux and Charlie thanks for putting on another fantastic ride I love the scenery. Also thanks for the earrings (it pays to nominate first 🥰)
Paul you did an amazing job as always as Cheif Steward, our Vets Narelle, Lesley and Rory amazing as always. The TPRs thanks you for giving up your time to support the ride.
Back home a massive thanks to Kerrie for training with me and to Carolyn for always supporting me in endurance.
