We never push women into this, and I often tell women in their 20s with good egg reserve to come back in a few years if their situation hasn’t changed.
As for ‘only 10%of women use them’ well GREAT if you didn’t need them (because you had a baby naturally), but how wonderful for those where it’s successful. Is there a 10% chance your house will burn down? No, but you take insurance. The chance your fertility will ‘burn down’ is much higher.
I think it’s amazing, much less onerous than many people realise, but not for everyone and not without risk.
