Dr Cade is a specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist in private practice at St Vincent’s Private Hospital and Epworth Freemasons Private Hospital, in Melbourne.
His practice focuses on three main services (1). Pre-pregnancy & fertility care, (2) Obstetric care, and (3) Gynaecological care.
Dr Cade also has a public appointment at the Royal Women’s Hospital and is Head of the Diabetes Unit there.
Dr Cade specialises in gestational diabetes, specifically the management of those with pre-existing diabetes or who have had gestational diabetes in a previous pregnancy. He received the Luke Proposch Perinatal Research Scholarship for his work in the management of gestational diabetes and has submitted his doctoral thesis on this topic.
Dr Cade has numerous ongoing research interests, is a reviewer for several international journals and has a position as a Senior Lecturer and Examiner at the University of Melbourne.
