Gertrude Street Yoga Studio is a place to explore, elevate, and expand your yoga practice, on and off the mat. Founded in 1997, the Studio has developed into an urban centre for yoga, wellness, and community; offering Vinyasa, Hatha Flow, Yin and Meditation classes, as well as numerous specialty courses, workshops, and events. The Healing Centre has a number of holistic health and wellness practitioners offering services such as massage, counselling, Reiki, and others. Our vision is to cultivate a community that values yoga as a holistic practice beginning on the mat and expanding into everyday life. Congratulations to our 2025 Teacher Training cohort who graduated on Sunday!

What a joy to witness the completion of their journey together. The transformative work and compassionate self inquiry that a yoga teacher training asks of you is no small feat, and reflecting on the past 3 months we have spent with this group Jaspah and I are deeply moved by their capacity to support and nurture each other, and their willingness to engage with the practice. It is an incredible privilege to have guided this chapter of their journey and we can’t wait to see what comes next as they take on teaching the Sunday 8am community classes!
